I know this is somewhat off-topic, but does it bug anyone else that so many people are getting keyblades?

Not really off topic, and no it doesn't. Because of the Keyblade War, which tells us of a time when there were hundreds upon hundreds of Keyblade wielders (some sought to take the light, others to protect it, etc.)

Remove that and keep the lore on the Keyblade a mystery, then I might've been kinda bugged.

But probably not even then =P

And now I'm in the world that I hate most -- Atlantica, but I want it out of the way so I go to my favorite world, Haloween Town, after this one. Once I get most of the story out of the way and get to the End of the World I'll see if can build the Ultima Weapon. Heard it's a bit trickier than vanilla Kingdom Hearts. Will have to harvest some Mystery Goo from the blue mushroom heartless in Deep Jungle.

Those blue mushroom show up in Deep Jungle? I've only run into them in Neverland. I need to see if I can get the Ultima Weapon myself. I already beat Sephiroth but it would be good to smack him around with that.

Bought KH Remix 1.5, and I too am just at Atlantica. I forgot how much I hated the swimming mechanic. I am really bad at it. XD

As for the Ultimate Weapon, I have never come close to acquiring all the ingredients....not back in the early naughts, when I first played the games, and I doubt it will change this time around. So for those going after it, I'm rooting for you all.
Cheers!

My mistake - I meant to say, Red Mushroom. Need to use Stopra on them all, which results in a big Pink Heartless showing up. Place your party members behind the Tree House, so they won't interfere, then summon Bambi as their placeholder, who will boost your MP in the mean time. Once you got them all, face the Pink Heartless in the tree house and be sure not to rotate the camera so Donald & Goofy won't suddenly teleport to your position. Probably need Aeroga, Stopra & Ragnarok for this. The deal is to stop the pink heartless then hit it 40 times or so for it to drop the Mystery Goo. I'm starting to reconsider on whether I want to get the Ultima Weapon immediately or wait 'till I finish Chains of Memories and stuff.

Brace yourself for Ursula - Annoying as heck, especially on Proud.

All that to get a Mystery Goo? I'd rather just juggle a Blue Mushroom 100 times and get like 2.

Edit: Not mushroom, truffle.

Edit 2: Got the Ultima Keyblade just now. 'Bout to go smack Sephiroth in the face with it

First time playing Re: Chain of Memories (we never got it in Europe). I didn't know what to expect going in... but I'm not a fan of the combat system, so far. Maybe it'll grow on me later on? Also, the Disney worlds this time around really are filler so far, and rehash the plot from their KH1 counterparts. You can tell the Disney worlds are there simply to pad out the game's length.

I was gonna buy that since 358/2 Days was out of my price range. Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately) I was about 6 dollars short on that game too. Probably gonna buy a game on Steam instead. I was looking forward to at least adding 358 to my collection. One day...

It's included on the 1.5 HD disc. That and the cutscenes from 358/2 Days (because it's a DS game. Taking their time to actually make a full-on remake would take away dev time that could be spent on KH3).

But still, I'm glad I could actually get some context to the events of KH2 with Re:CoM's storyline without having to resort to a wiki page. That's nice so far. But 358 is totally worth playing. It's got great gameplay.

Currently just defeated Lock, Stock & Barrel - Can't remember what to do next, lol

I've also heard that BBS has supposedly a mixed combat system that draws from both KH2 & Chains of Memories. I'm not big on the card stuff, so I hope it's not too much like the latter.

^ You're supposed to pull the lever and go down the tree, until you see a green door.

I remember the first time I played this. I was lost in Deep Jungle. I was lost in Atlantica. I was lost in Monstro... actually, in pretty much every world except for the Coliseum, Hollow Bastion and the final world. >_>

I know right? The game isn't exactly being forthright with what you're supposed to do. Atlantica was probably the worst alongside Deep Jungle, bah.

I spent HOURS looking for Ariel's grotto. The internet wasn't a thing yet back in 2001! There was no YouTube!

Thankfully, KH2 remedies this.

I, too, shall be undergoing the quest to retrieve the Ultima Weapon in the first game once I start a proud playthrough. It should be soon.

It does take some getting used to, but I found it to be fun in Re:Chain thanks to the bigger battle areas. The original had far too small of an arena to fight in.

But the story itself is worthwhile.

Lol I got lost in Monstro when I first played too. I don't know how long I wandered around in there before I figured it out.

Goddamnit i forgot how much i hate the last level the daemon is fine. It is the endless waves of enemies you have to fight after that i just can't beat (with no save points)

Summoning Tinkerbell at that point is a good strategy. She'll continuously heal you as long as you don't run out of MP, so make sure to just stock up on Ethers beforehand in your Items menu.

Yeah trying to get the material for every item so you can even try to make the keyblade can get a bit irritating. It's definitely not a quick process.

Time to beat Hercules Cup - Almost beat that abs-kissing clown but he took me by surprise when his health was at its lowest. Time to try again.
