I noticed. But there's some nuances between CoM's system and 358/2-Birth By Sleep-Dream Drop Distance that make them functionally different. Not enough that you'd call them different, but I would. I'm hesitant to jump into CoM's gameplay but the other games are closer to the first two games for me.
358/2 Days is essentially same sort of gameplay, hence why I didn't mention that one. The others are pretty much Chain of Memories' gameplay, only they use a command 'sort-of' deck system as opposed to it being cards since they don't place inside Castle Oblivion. I find it all to be equally dumb and clunky and rather not see either again.
