There is nothing inherently wrong with a character not developing or changing if the character is well written and if it is true to the character to remain who they are, imo
Yeah. That is your opinion. Snow is my second most hated FF character. Tidus has the number 1 spot.
Correct. It is my opinion which was why I put IMO (now bolded for clarity) ROFL and that ^ is yours
Yay for us...........? Neither one of us is *right*
OR wrong for that matter...
ok, I'm going to go out on a limb and say that I really liked both Tidus and Snow, why because they are believable and actually act like reasonable human beings. Something that really puts me off a game is when a character has a breakdown and begins to act like a depressed 4 year old. People are defined by more than one emotion and will try and hide "weak emotions" under a cover of being loud or brave. As Snow's world falls apart he doesn't mope around, or proclaim his misery and hatred for the world, he accepts it and does what he needs to make it right.
Again with Tidus, he's left in a world obsessed with death, put on a path that will only end one way and still manages to be cheerful. The thing is listening to his thought's you can see he isn't really at all happy with everything. I hated him on my first play through, but I played again 5 years later and suddenly I started to like him (although there's no competition with Auron).
I think that after a point you just get sick of "dark" heros who fly into a deep depression and withdraw from the world at the drop of a hat, that's probably why I liked Tidus and Snow, they were believable.
But also just my opinion;)
