How would that make sense? Dragon Age 2 was given a great score by IGN. Why would I use a game that got high reviews as a counter argument? If I had said KH2 got a lower score than a game IGN rated poorly then you could say I used it to counter you.

 

Yeah maybe you do need to stop posting. You can't even think straight.

 

 

Heck, you talk about critics, do you know what IGN gave it? A lower score than Dragon Age 2, a game most people here claim was awful.

You used that game as an example, because it is universally considered a bad game (apparently) by non-professional reviewers, thus you felt it was relevant in your case as a counter argument to mine.

I think it is you who can't seem to think straight. :)

I dunno, it's really difficult to explain. I just really like Sora for who he is. The only real change I want from him is that he gets smarter. He's ridiculously dull in 3D. It was never that bad before.

That's fair, I'd say.

I'll be honest...

 

I never beat Sephiroth. That fight was hard.

It is. The difficulty comes mostly from pattern memorization. Like a lot of action game boss fights. You can be at a low level and still beat Sephiroth when you know what to do to dodge whatever attack or take the least amount of damage.. But he can destroy you at a high level if you don't know what you're doing.

Haven't you been trying to prove KH2 sucks all this time? How does it NOT make sense? Take a game not recieved well here and point out how well it was recieved on IGN in comparison to that Kingdom Hearts game you hate so much. And there you have a counter-argument to what Chris was saying.

Actually, I was trying to find that Nomura interview because Chris acted like I was lying about Nomura putting the blame on others for KH2 and the rest of the series. I was never trying to prove it sucked. I was just posting the links to Nomura blaming others. Chris brought up things and I saw posts from people asking was there really people who disliked KH2, so I posted links from KH forums. I was just replying to people the whole time. J. Reezy if you remember on the old forums I said I liked RE: Chain of Memories more than KH2. That game wasn't as well received as KH2 by critics and non professional reviewers. That goes to show you I don't give a s**t about critics.

It's like playing Bayonetta on the hardest difficulty, dodgy camera angles that will plot to destroy you and everything, though they were mostly fixed in the HD re-release.

I almost forgot about this, tbh. Is dodge roll nonexistent in Final Mix? I'm level 50 something and I still don't have it. 

 

I mean, it was super broken. My guess was that they removed it so you'd actually have to learn how to block properly, but maybe I just missed a side activity where you unlock it or something?

You get it by leveling up Limit Form.

Which one? The first game or the second game? In the first game it should unlock as soon as you beat the Guard Armor Heartless in Traverse Town, and in the second game it'll unlock as you level up the Limit Form (like Galactic Runner said above). It should be the same as in the original, basically.

Whether it's that, the negative reception of it on the KH forums, or the DA2 comparison, the argument stems from the same place. No matter what you dress it up in.

 

As for CoM, I don't have much of an opinion on it other than not really liking the battle system. I know it wasn't as well recieved by critics as the two main games before it.

I recall seeing it in the 1.5 remix. Of course, I can't imagine them removing it from the original game. And I had heard it was back in the Final Mix of II. I haven't had chance to play it though so I don't know for sure.

It actually helps when you are in a pinch. I've used it when Lingering Will Batman was giving me a hard time.

I've used it during boss fights a few times because my health was low, and magic was charging, but then my magic goes back up and Cure doesn't work, so as I take more damage I become just as screwed as I was. xD

 

I'm playing IIFM and BBSFM on Proud right now. It's not as tough as I was afraid it'd be, but it definitely takes a bit more than Normal. 

 

Also, Chris, you said it should be the same as the original version of the game? Limit form wasn't in the original, as far as I remember? Granted, it's been years, but I swear Limit was specifically a Final Mix thing.

No, Chris thought I was trying to convince people that KH2 sucked. I wasn't. It was never about me or my opinion, it was about the Nomura interview where he admits being dissatisfied with KH2. Get it. I was trying to show him that Nomura thought it didn't live up to standards. IGN was irrelevant to my search. I went to KH2 threads because I thought it would help me find the interview. All I wanted was to post the Nomura interview. Chris kept talking like it was my opinion. I didn't seek any evidence about it sucking until someone asked "was there actually people who disliked KH2?" I replied to them with proof by posting KH threads.

 

I was never trying to argue with Chris. He kept posting to me while I was searching for the lost interview and I kept replying. He acted as if I was trying to convert people.

Doesn't this alleged Nomura interview bolster your argument though? It's not your opinion of course, but it would convince you that it was a bit more valid. But your evidence didn't bring to light anything unknown which is what we find fault in. "People actually think KH2 sucks?" is obviously a rhetorical question. Of course not everyone is not going to like a game. It doesn't take away from the game being well-recieved in general by critics and non-professional reviewers alike. Just like all the positive reception doesn't take away from you believing the game is terrible.

Yeah, I couldn't find the 2nd interview. You have remember KH2 is almost 10 years old and there have been many KH games since then so it is pretty hard to find the interview. KH2.5 Remix doesn't make it easier either. Chris kept posting to me so I stopped my search for the 2nd link to reply to him. I'm tired now.
