We've gone back in time!
But seriously, I'm reasonably sure KH:DDD will be the last game prior to KH3 -- as KH3 is set up in the game.
What's interesting is that KH3 will mark the end of the Xehanort Saga, but not the series as a whole.
I'll be interested to see how Nomura handles that idea. Hopefully it won't crash and burn.

And I find Roxas' line "WHO ELSE WILL I HAVE ICE CREAM WITH??!!' funny when taken out of context.
I have a strong feeling that the HD 1.5 Remix Collection, which will have KH1, Re: Chain of Memories, and HD Cutscenes of 358/2 Days, will come here to North America, so I am excited.
I also find it so funny that not only will KH1 and Re: Chain of Memories have PS3 Trophies, but so will the HD Cutscenes of 358/2 Days!! LAWL!!

Huh? I did finish. I said I never really fully understood how the cards worked with the camera. You were supposed to take pictures of them and it had something to do with the pets stats or somehting, but I never really understood it. I didn't get too terribly far in that game though.

Yeah, the context of that scene is important. To the unknowing, it just seems lame. But when you understand what's going through Roxas' mind regarding friendship, it's really sad. To him, friendship meant someone you have ice cream with. That's all he knew it to be.

So I just found out there were "Ultima Weapons" in Kingdom Hearts. Really wish I would've known this ten years ago.
Yep, you had to collect a bunch of rare materials to forge it hough so I never bothered. The oblivion was plenty powerful enough for me. Donald and Goofy's best weapons were also throw-backs to Final Fantasy. (Save the King and Save the Queen)

I got the Ultima Weapon in Kingdom Hearts II. It's still on my save file.
On another note, I spent around 75 hours on Kingdom Hearts II alone, even after I beat Xemnas. I kept level grinding all the way to LV 99 and I kept beating Heartless, Nobodies, and Xemnas over and over and over...

Finally bothering to create different items, find as many treasure chests as I can, maxing out my drive forms, and the grinding increased my play time to about 95 hours last time I checked. I couldn't even be bothered to put that much time into Skyrim.Galactic Runner wrote...

Cool. Hopefully that'll be backwards compatible with the PS4 down the line as that's the next PlayStation I plan on geting.Tommyspa wrote...
Remix announced for NA. Only question is phsyical or digital. I'd hate for a digital only like Okami in NA.

Good luck with that Reezy.

Unless you mean there being the chance of the collection being downloadable on the PS4 PSN Store somewhere down the line or something. You'll be lucky though

So much for purchasing that any time in the DISTANT future. I don't even have a PS3 yet and like I said, the PS4 is the next PlayStation I'm buying.Arcadian Legend wrote...

I was rather indifferent to the Dream Eater aspect of the party members until I had to fight Xehanort with Riku. I had a hard time getting a combo going without getting a link attack with one of them. Because of that handicap, I rather they, and any "link attack" mechanics involved with their introduction, never show up again. Ever.
Story was cool. I'm glad Riku got a Playable Character role this time around. Sora is alright but I can only take so much of his naivete and nice guy attitude. Nobodies becoming human again was strange but I'm not complaining since Axel is back. I'm still not sure how he even acquired the ability to use a Keyblade.

That's one of my favorite aspects of the KH series so far, mainly because as early as Chain of Memories it was hinted at more then a few times.
Back when I was on the KH wiki, I added a bit to Axel's entry page that told of all the moments where he legitimately displayed emotions. At one point in CoM even, he laughed and stopped himself because of how odd it was for him to genuinely laugh.
I'm still not sure how he even acquired the ability to use a Keyblade.
Perhaps his friendship with Roxas and Xion had something to do with that. Indeed, the Keyblade bears similarities to Frolic Flame and Bond of Flame. The first is acquired by Ventus, whose heart resides in Sora and as such is connected to Roxas. And the latter is given to Sora.
EDIT: Actually, Lea went to Yen Sid for training and Yen Sid had Merlin and the three fairies suppress the time needed for Axel to train to wield a Keyblade. Remember, Yen Sid was a Keyblade Master himself -- he trained King Mickey, in fact.
I have to say one of my favorite moments is when Lea says he made a promise to always be there to bring his friends back or something similar in DDD that was an echo of his declaration to Xion.
I'll admit, tears formed.
Kingdom Hearts hits me in the feels a lot lately.

Since we now know that Nobodies can grow their own hearts, I wouldn't be surprised if Roxas and Namine end up as separate entities from Sora and Kairi. Same with Xion. Regarding Ven, why does he still look the same age he did in Birth By Sleep? He's been in that chamber in Castle Oblivion for 12 years!
And I have a strong feeling that Kingdom Hearts III will be on PS4 at this point. Hopefully it will be on PS3, but we'll see.

Having keyblade wieders in the party (for a majority of the time) is definitely what I'm hoping for. If by "battle system" he's referring to the cool down replacing MP then I'm cool with that.Galactic Runner wrote...
I also didn't mind the Dream Eaters, but Nomura said that the Dream Drop Distance battle system is a preview for the battle system they are planning for Kingdom Hearts III. I figure, instead of the Dream Eaters, how about we use the other keyblade wielders and fighters? Sora, Riku, Kairi, Lea, Donald, Goofy, and King Mickey are going to save Terra, Aqua, Ven, Xion, Namine, and Roxas anyway. You'll be able to switch up who is in your party during the battles and it'll be awesome to have the keyblade wielders finally assemble.
I'm thinking the same. The possibility of Kingdom Hearts III ending up on PS4 is one reason why I'm getting one.And I have a strong feeling that Kingdom Hearts III will be on PS4 at this point. Hopefully it will be on PS3, but we'll see.
