Ok, I've purchased, downloaded, and installed this DLC, but I have no idea where to access this ingame. I don't see it in the ME2 main menu anywhere. I looked where it says "import ME1character", also where it say "New Character". don't see anywhere, where you can access this interactive comic. what's up with this? I have the EA downloadable version of ME2.

It kicks in after the Collector attack.

Thanks for the quick response. Just ran through the intro so I could watch it. Have to say I'm a bit disappointed. Not exactly worth the points I paid. Not only that, I'm VERY disappointed Bioware chose to tack this cheap interactive comic smack dab in the middle of one of the best game intros I've ever seen. Definitely ruins the flow and pacing of the Intro. It would have been better to have the player select "New Player", then given the choice to "Play ME Genesis", or "Continue" to play with default choices. THEN the ME2 intro starts. Just boggles the mind sometimes....

...It's 4 dollars? Stop being so cheap.

When someone says something costs more than it's worth, that doesn't make them cheap. I'm surprised someone was willing to pay for this at all since there are free mods that work better than Genesis. So no, this person is not cheap.

I think this was made primarily for the PS3 users who where not able to get a ME1 save game file. 4$ doesn't seem that much if you consider that.

I downloaded Genesis. If you played Mass Effect and want a quick way to make a new character for ME2 then Genesis is a nice way to do it.

I feel a bit sorry for PS3 players though, unless they know everything there is to know about Mass Effect. Genesis doesn't tell you everything that may affect your decisions. An example without giving away spoilers: You can't decide your background, like Spacer/War Hero and so on.

All I know is that the Mass Effect and BioWare teams have definately kept me entertained for the better part of 10 years. Assuming that this DLC is, as you say, 'disappointing', it's one minor oversight in an otherwise decade long dynasty. 4 dollars is better then 14 though.

0 is even better than 4.
It doesnt cost you anything to download and use Gibbeds save game editor which allows for a greater variety of choices, instead of just the 6 that Genesis gives.

True but some of us only have it on Xbox 360 of PS3 instead of PC so downloads from websites don't work

If you have a computer you can transfer saves from Xbox to the computer for editing.

So the only one that can't be edited is PS3, which gets the comic for free.

I really wish I had known about the save game editor prior to downloading Genesis for four bucks. I guess I'll just have to skip coffee on my way to work tomorrow. What a shame.

Sadly, for someone living in another country and therefore an exchange rate different to the U.S: I had to pay close to $8 for the genesis DLC and didn't think to look for alternatives until just now.

$7 isn't a lot compared the $20 I paid for the game or the 50+ needed for new releases but $7 is still enough to get great (albeit older) bargain games online
