I searched around a bit but couldn't find any posts on it. I hope this isn't a re-post.

I was playing Infiltraitor on LOTSB when I really got into it, got a steady rate of elimintaing waves as I advanced further in the SB base. Thats when I noticed something.

I got into the habit of sending incinerating blast out right when my locust clip finished. I finally took the time to watch Shepard rather than the enemy.  If i sent the blast out right when it ran out, the "throwing" arm did a funny motion up into the air ( Think "FABULOUS!" kind of wave), the blast comes out, and a second later I am reloaded, and its certainly faster than the already quick SMG reload.

Anyone else knows of this.

Yes. The reload animation can be shortened. Once you hear the click noise of the reload occurring any other offensive action will cancel the reload animation and finish the reload. It is usually done with a melee attack, but it works with powers as well. Oh and before others jump on you for it, it is a "feature" not a glitch according to Christina Norman.

Yeah, and it doesn't matter which weapon you're using - all have a 1.5 seconds reload time.

Even the class should not matter: I use the same glitch with my vanguard.
I think it is a glitch shared by every class.

I use the glitch with my Adept. Warps in between smg reloads work well when power stripping especially against the SB.

It's not a glitch ... It's the "Fast Reload Feature" .... FRF for short :)

^Damn, I've been calling it Power Reload / Reload trick this whole time. FRF is more helpful.

Yeah, using this trick alongside any direct damage power is true joy. Even bosses on Insanity begin feeling trivial once you've mastered it.

Power Reload also has a nice ring to it.
