When I was looking at the RWS horse video, which was awesome, I noticed a skydome video with snowy mountains in the background.  I believe it was under Hellfire's name.  If it is yours, is it possible that it will be released in the near future?  It would be perfect for my campaign.

I would be happy to let you use it, BUT. the skydome is static and will not  transition through the day/night cycle.
I looked for a way to to get nice mountain ranges and made a set of skyring placeable mountains that are textured.
Ill let you have tose to if you would rather have them.

They are fully textured with normal maps and are nicely lit by the day night cycles.

Its a little hard to see in the night shots, but ingame the mountains in teh moonlight look awesome.

The two bottom screenshots must be the skyring, right? That's what I meant to say, I always get those confused. Those look amazing. If you are willing, I'd love to use them!

all of the images are placeable mountain objects for the outer ring of the area.
Ill package them up tonight and Email you the link.

With the original skyring in the background the placeable skyring creates a great effect of different lines of mountain ranges in the distance.

I've heard that in that other PWs using skydomes, it can cause slow loading transition and crashes in those areas using skydomes. Is this true for anyone else?

Those areas look fantastically good with the skydome, with a seemingly endless landscape.

I don't know about skydomes, but what you are seeing in the screenshot is not a skydome or a skyring, but a very large placeable that encompasses the entire area.

Yes.  I have one area that borders the ocean and i want to use the placeables on it ever so much.  You could also make one that covered all 4 corners, one that did 3, one that did 2, and then a single corner.  That would be really convenient. 

..if it's not too much work.  Not trying to be greedy...
