I'm so tired of this. Everyone needs to wake up, all religions are a SCAM. I hate to break it to anybody that's hardcore, but its true, every piece of literature including the bible and koran is all propoganda.

Take a look at life before the bible, people were scavengers and barbarians, then the bible came along to control people and to tell them how to act or else. No everybody has this goody too shoes attitude because of it. Its all a way meant to control people's emotions and thoughts, much like the U.S. government, they don't want you to know anything.

This rapture won't occur like every other apocalypse prediction, but 2012 may occur, I think. Every religion has that specific date noted, the world may not end, but some major change will occur. Aliens, technology outbreak, I don't know, but something is bound to happen that day.

No. Mayan elders testified the date. It's only a celebration date of their calender.

Edit: Also, saying that "every religion has that specific date noted" sounds like you've been watching the History channel too long. They tend to grasp at straws when it comes to this subject. It's almost as if they want it to happen.

Funny enough most Christians in my family and the local area thinks that guy is full of it. In fact My step dad who's going to the race today laughed about it and went. "Well yeah I plan to set on the top row so when the ground opens up I can watch the cars slide in." And not one Church I've seen aroudn here (and trust me this being the South we have alot of em) and no one is buying it or altering tomorrows plans.

Hehe... 'Rapture': Believers perplexed after prediction fails
Not exactly sure why that is 'News' - it's kinda obvious that the world hasn't ended, and it doesn't take a massive leap of logic to deduce that believers won't have expected that.

Of course this wasn't going to be the end based on his prediction. His damn chruch still had things planed 'far' after the prediction date.

Truth is - Camping and his church make untold millions. Which brings me to this next thing. To be frank, I get pissed off every time I see a church 'begger' at major traffic red-lights with their suits and 'buckets' in hand.

Man, I'm thinking about starting a religion myself. It seems like a nice way to get money while sitting on your ass. It's going to be called 'Get me rich or you shall be forever condemned.' Hmm on second thought, I actually have a conscience and couldn't willingly lie to people while taking their money every week. Lol, it's like each church is apart of a larger 'Mob organization' and they'll protect you (from the devil) as long as you are apart of them and pay (err I mean donate) money to them.
