Or how about this! Make a cover without Shep on it! Genius right!?

I'd be okay with this too. Like the scrapped ME1 cover someone or such put out, Game Informer I think, with Saren's claws digging into Earth? I liked that one, got the point across with minimal coverage.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to simply include her on the same cover, though. Literally dozens of ways to do this.Sparroww wrote...

Which is why the ME2 cE is the best case, until you take the case jacket off and see Sheploo staring at youCheesy Blue wrote...

OK now I demand for FemShep to be on poster just for that.

But Chris P has asked the fans what they want for the super deluxe edition of ME3 and this would be a fun choice for people that want FemShep on their cover. Ink costs money but fans have money. Some might even splurge money and buy both covers.

It wouldn't Fiery however BW and EA love their Sheploo and if anything the best part about femShep is that there's lots of different ones and you couldn't just use the default face as it would be a little injustice to the character.
I don't know if BioWare announced that they'd make such a CE and asked everyone to submit their femShep details so they could compile them into a collage artwork either used as the front cover or as a 'collectable' inside the box. You could do the same with custom MaleShep's also.
It was just an idea that's all.

everytime one of these threads pops up all the femshep fans start acting like its some feminist rights rally or something when that has absolutely nothign to do with it.
I don't really see this, though, I could say that your desire to jump on these threads and post so very quickly is somewhat misogynistic but I won't because that's just silly. The thing is what exactly is your problem with women wanting their Shepherd to get a little face time? It's pretty obvious that it probably won't happen, but, I have to wonder why it bothers you so much that it's being suggested.
Why do I have a feeling that if the situation was reversed and female shep was the default shep the people not wanting a female shep in advertising now would be complaining about there not being any male shep in advertsing. And at the same time most the people who currently want female shep in advertising would be telling the pro male sheps in advertising to stop complaining.

In fact scratch that idea, just split the standard edtion into 2 and have the cover's between Sheploo and a femShep cover throw in some other goodies like concept art for each genre or something like that.
For a CE, I think it'd have to appeal to EVERYONE'S tastes.

You're probably right when it comes down to it, people want what they can't have and others absolutely loath change, I personally could care less about who ends up on the box cover. It would be cool to see it Femmeshep up there, but, it's not going to affect my experince.

This. And I'm a guy, but would still like to see more of female Shepard (and better faces/hair in character creation for her).
In the end, though, I can't stand the default Shepard, anyways, so I've gotten used to ignoring the model in promotional materials. I understand marketing and all that; I personally couldn't care less about the "canon" Shepard.

They won't because the canon Shepard is male.
Except there is no canon Shepard.
I know it won't happen, but it would be cool if she was given equal time in the surrounding media - or at least billing on the back of the box.

There is a canon Shepard.
The default Shepard is male, soldier, spacer. This is seen when creating your ME1 Shepard.
