There will be import fixes. All of the awakenings issues based on the lack of approval rating carrying on from DAA and onwards should be fixed as well as a few other ones.

I hope this will mean that no death characters will return from the graves... I don't want to see Zevran anymore on my Evil Mage import.

Thanks for the info, I was just thinking today about having this patch, a patch I really want for starting a new playthrough, something I have not done since the importing bugs really annoyed me. Thanks! ;)

Fab news - I'll hold off giving it another whirl until the patch is out. Cheers!

Do any other dlcs influence DA2? (Witch Hunt, for one, which mentions Morrigan's fate, shows up in the plot summaries, but I thought not at all in 2.) I've been importing from Origins, which seems to work better with the import mod - but I wondered if there will be any reason to import from a save *other* than Awakening after this next patch.

GoA and Witch Hunt currently dont have any calls in DA2. That said, there's always the chance that they will get called later on in a DLC or something else so you may want to use your furthest import just in case.

Very good, & thank you! I started using Witch Hunt imports, & moved to Origins so I wouldn't be deemed dead by former friends. Assuming they allow me life now, that's good news!

Well, after a series of my replyes a bit rude in some posts regarding the lack of proper fixes for stability in DX11 and with the saves of Awakening not properly working as intended, I have to admit that this is a good news, finally. Hoping to finally begin to play the game withouth problems, im ready to offer my apologies.

I paid for a game that should be fully functional correct? Then why is my question stupid. Its a legitimate question.

I can see your POV, but would you have made a different purchase decision if BioWare hadn't labeled DA2 with "DX11"?   And many, many players are running DA2 with DX11 and the High-Res Texture Pack just fine, so it's a small subset that have your issue.  (An issue which doesn't, in fact, prevent you from playing the game.)

It is not a small subset that is having DX11 issues.

The patch improves DX11 stability.

Good news; so obviously there were issues with DX11, even after the improvements brought by the last graphics cards drivers (Nvidia in my case). Hopefully, my system ain't that particular, and this patch will be the solution to the persistant crash to windows. I wonder how many were able to complete the game (High-res textures, DX11) without experiencing any crash, and how many were not...

If you are a true rpg fan than you would be into all the best rpg's around, if someone liked TW1 but not TW2 they must have head trama... :) But even if you did not like TW1 the sequal is a better game in its own right....

...where is the love...

I agree as I am playing TW2 while waiting for the DA2 patch to continue my campaign!  TW2 is awesome in it's own right and better (and different) than TW1.

Anyway, on topic, when can we expect to see a list of fixes?

I really hope the Exiled Prince/Black Emporium crashes are fixed in this. I've had some bugs (notably the "missing first lines" one) but nothing that really prevented me from playing until those. Got it at the midnight release and I'm still in Act II because of that :(
