Awesome
As someone asked earlier, and as i've made a topic about, will it fix the importing issues if you import your game from witch hunt?
It will definitely fix any issues specifically related to approval ratings.

Unfortunately, as far as i know, mods don't work on an xbox360 console and I don't know how to access the toolkit to debug it (or if thats even possible with an xbox??) like some PC users have suggested.
Thanks everybody for your help!

I take it that the Nathaniel being alive or dead import bug doesn't have to do with approval ratings?

I believe there are probably tools that can modify flags in save games though so that you can fix this? I could be mistaken, my knowledge of the limitations of file manipulation for xbox is quite minimal.

I've tried (unsuccessfully) to play with it, it's proven itself much more difficult than the Mass Effect save manipulation unfortunately. :-/

Not impossible but I don't think it would be possible in a seamless way. You would need some sort of obtuse popup to say "Hey, do you want Nathaniel alive, yes or no?" when you import.

I'd be willing to bake someone a batch of cookies or like... be their personal compliment monkey for a year if they could give me that obtuse popup. Seriously. I have no shame. *
I get very nervous when it comes to tools and personally trying to alter games, specially since I don't now how it will affect DLCs and future imports, yada yada. I was trying to look into finding a way to alter flags for ME2 so that Conrad would quit thinking I pulled my gun out on him in the first game but I got spectacularly confused and gave up.
I don't even know how I'd start to manipulate and xbox file.
*or, you know, pay someone. That would be less creepy.

At the moment I'd happily take that. Do you know if there is any plans to fix this, either by the method above or (doubtfully) a patch to DA:A?
Edit: Lyndsy just summed up my dislike of personally changing save files perfectly.

Sorry if this has alrady been answered, but exactly which errors were because of the approval ratings? Lelianna not saying she romanced the Warden and such?Luke Barrett wrote...

so, a certain female character (are spoilers allowed on this board?) from Dragon age origins who you meet in one of Nathanial's side quest will recognize my warden's romance now?

We made a bunch of fixes to plots like "Who Needs Rescuing," "Friendly Concern," "Act of Mercy," "A Murder of Crows," "A New Path," "Bait and Switch," "Demands of the Qun," "Dissent," "No Rest for the Wicked," "The Captain's Condolences," "The Last Straw," "Wayward Son," and more. We've also tweaked some banter, how some Rivalry/Friendship points are assigned, and corrected a lot of the references to events imported from your Dragon Age: Origins playthrough.
So based on my bolded parts, Rob, does this mean that if Zevran was killed by the Warden in Origins, "A Murder of Crows" won't trigger? This has been my biggest gripe with the game thus far and I hope this has been fixed. I had to stop my first 2 playthroughs because of that particular glitch.

I think that was fixed in the last patch. Both my playthroughs I've done with two separate Warden imports where the Warden killed Zevran that quest didn't show up.

So, what's wrong with that? I would not mind a pop-up like that. At least it would fix the issue and not leave it broken as it is now.

Perhaps in the future there will be some embedded feature to allow custom histories within the game as this seems to be a very popular item. I know we did something like this for ME2 PS3, we'd probably have to analyze how well that was received (and take in to consideration that there was no alternative). Anyways, I'll continue to push for fixes and what not for you guys and hopefully we'll see some traction on the issue at some point.

It's not ideal to have an abrupt modification of history in the game just for the aesthetic and immersion factor of it all; not to say that it isn't possible.

Ok, well I appreciate that. :-)
So is it safe to say that I should load up my "before the final battle" save for Awakenings and bring along Nathanial in order to see him when I import to DA2?

It would be interesting to see if I'm in a minority on this.
However it is entirely possible that I've completely misunderstood what you said - housebound hermitting kinda starts to destory one's comprehension of communication. I might end up reverting to meows.
