Maybe not bullets, but if there was a way to mock them and humiliate them it would make me think about saving them in ME1. I am sorry but as hard as I try, I cannot bring myself to save the Destiny Ascension.

All my ME2 games where the council was saved are from imports that other people shared.

I'd only mock him if he still disregarded Shepard after he/she brings him the evidence that Reapers do exist. Shooting him would only cause an unnecessary political ****storm.

He's actually not so bad, considering he aided in human reparations after the First Contact War.

I'd like to see his face when a Reaper is coming toward the window.  "Ah yes, Reapers.  We have dismissed your existence."

No I don't want to do anything like some kind of childish revenge against Valern just because he doesn't belive your unproved ramblings, threat and dreams about "reapers". Valern has to try to make everyone in the galaxy as happy as possible so one single humans opinions and warnings are a very small thing in the greater perspective. My Shepards knows that they are not the centre of the universe and are mature and self confident enough to be able to handle a few airquotes and snarky comments, especialy as Valern always have a good point.

100% agree. At this point Shepard is just a rambling "dream spewing" Human. Valarn has what? Billions of poeple to think about, he can't just take a wish and a dream on confidence.

It sounds like your Shep would listen to the Reaper's side of the story and perhaps let them go through with their plans so as to not hurt their feelings.

The Council will listen to solid proof. When Shepard meets them in ME2, he/she doesn't have any.

If they don't have an option to at least hurt him, I will be disappointed in BioWare. That man deserves a bullet to the face.

You'd shoot people in the face for being arrogant douchebags?

Jeez, hope you never get near a politician in real life...

It's an RPG; people roleplay, if not it is still a game.   One shouldn't compare game behavior with real life behavior.

Well, i don't think i support shooting him, but a powerful headbutt, hell yes! While Grunt watches. Plus air quote, and a bit humilating, the asari councilor should get some humilation as well, the salarian, he is ok i guess.

Even though Shepard doesn't have any proof of the Reapers being behind the attack, or their existance, the council have to be blind if they don't see whats going on in the universe with the colonist being abducted. And even after you save their sorry asses they have the balls to call Shepard a traitor.

Justified or not, some people or perhaps many people would get very furious at that point.

I think it would be more fun if we let a reaper do it instead.

I agree whole heartly with this someone's real life behaviour will be completely different than what they have their video game behaviour be. Someone for instance like be could be a nice individual but in game you have a completely different behaviour.

Like take my take of what my mr shepard is; in the game he is anti human pro alien. With the exception of Joker/Mother (spacer Background) Hackett and Emily Wong he would rather let earth suffer/sweat it out for awhile and have some super major losses while he goes off to find more allies.

I still want the option to meet the alien council (I saved the council in all of my play thru's) in person and just walk up and shoot the turian councilor right between the eyes.

But in real life I don't wish anything bad on anyone unless they really really break the law.

So in ME2 Shepard will just have to swallow his pride and face the fact that everyone won't do and think as he wants and just work with what s/he have (in other words Failberus).

Joker: Incoming call from the Turian Councilor, Commander.

Shep: ***** YEAH* "I'll take this in my quarters"

*in cabin*

Turian Councilor: "Shepard! The Reapers are attacking us!"

Shep: "Ah yes, Reapers,"

Turian Councilor: "Shepard, This is no time to be childish!"

Shep: "I don't have time for your disingenuous assertions!"

Scene: The Destiny Ascension (carrying the original councilors) and an Alliance dreadnought (carrying Anderson) are fleeing from a burning Citadel under reaper attack. A pair of reapers turn and start to chase down the dreadnoughts. Both ships send out distress calls, and fortunately the Normandy arrives just in the nick of time, Thanix cannons charged and ready to fire. But there is only time enough to disable one reaper. Shepard cannot possibly save both.

The council: Shepard, thank goodness you're here. Please save us!
Anderson: Go ahead Shepard. The majority of the council must survive... I'm only one man. Save them.
Shepard: No.
Everyone: What?
Shepard: You heard me... no. I gave you a chance, and you squandered it. Instead of preparing for this, you chose to stick your heads in the sand and ignore the problem. Now you're going to pay the price.
Turian councilor: So you're just going to clear the way for Humanity to take over the galaxy?
Shepard: No. I'll find worthier members of your species to replace you . Hell, the Asari, Turian, and Salarian on my crew have done more to fight the "reapers" than you ever have. Joker, take down the ship attacking Anderson.
Asari councilor: But Shepard- *scream* ... *static*
Joker: Destiny Ascension... destroyed, commander.
Shepard: Probably the only good thing the reapers will ever do. Bring us around for another pass, keep Councilor Anderson's ship clear.

I'm with this^ guy!

EDIT: People are getting carried away here, it's just a bit of fun, right?

If not, i would just like to say the council MUST have known about the Reapers, even before Shep mentioned them. If not, that smacks of incompetence. Cerberus and the Shadow Broker having better intel then THE GALACTIC COUNCIL(the most powerful entity in the known galaxy) is B.S. I just dont believe it.
They could have just acknowledged the fact instead of insulting us! I understand they have trillions of people to think about, and dont want to spread panic, but c'mon man?

Anyway like i said, its just a bit of fun, right?

No. I want to air quote his statement about Reapers back to him before leaving him to his fate. Maybe turn around and throw in a full moon as the Normandy is airlifting me out.

I want to mock him a bit and MAYBE slap him in the face.

Though the option should be there to a) do nothing b)kick his ass c)mock him d)slap him (follow up to mocking) or e) kill the council.

If they hinder me one more time however, they're gone.

I don't want to shoot him as that would probably ****** the Turians off and make them less willing to help.

My hope is that the council is on Earth in the beginning of the game when the Reapers invade. That is when Shepard turns to the Turian councilor and mockingly says: (air quotes) "Ah yes, Reapers!" Then Shepard punches the Turian councilor before escaping with Anderson.
