Transgaming's patching system on the Mac involves automated updates. There is no manual installation method. As long as you're online, everything should go smoothly for you once you launch the game.

Rob

I was happy to see the mac patch until I installed it. Now I can't get into the game either with old saves or past the tutorial and opening scenes if a new game. There's an error message saying Black Emporium isn't installed or authorized. But it is both. Bioware support took me through some fixes, but they didn't work. They promised to get back to me by last Tuesday, but they haven't . Anyone else have a problem with osx and DA21.03?

jbach67 - send me a private message if you're still having problems and I'll see if we can figure out what's going wrong for you.
Thanks,
Rob

fuchslich - I'm glad to hear it's fixed for you. For our own records and the benefit of others who might experience this, can you clarify what you needed to do on your end to fix the issue?
Thanks,
Rob

My BE dlc wasn't showing up as authorized after the patch, and I couldn't access any of my saves because of this. It turns out that my game was having problems connecting to the DA servers. Once I manually connected from the main menu everything worked again.

Hi, I'm getting the AWC.dll - error-message, despite having Version 1.03.
DA2 ran totally fine until yesterday. I reinstalled it three times, even with another user. What can I do?

okay, it's working again, although the reason why it didn't work in the first place was kinda strange...

Yes, that's odd. I'm glad to hear you're back up and running again, however.
The AWC.dll error was fixed in 1.03 and was tied to an underlying bug in the Windows OS where a Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) file would become corrupted and would report your machine specs incorrectly. We changed our code to identify the corruption and fail more gracefully when we encountered it.
From what I understand, the WMI file is self-correcting to an extent. It could be that it got itself into a bad state that isn't covered by our 1.03 fix but then repaired itself, voodoo-style, through some normal Windows process.
