- main quest lines with two distincly different choices leading to multiple plays and a multitude of endings. (siding with scotia`tael or vernon roche)
- mature themes and no clithe stories
- moral decisions in the game are presented with a neutral standpoint and are satisfying (not about choosing the really good or really bad, more of choosing the lesser of two evils or choosing rather to kill someone then and there as opposed to running and doing his errand)
- conclusions to main quests have BIG IMPACT - do you kill the king or not! and influences the next chapter and beyond, incredible branching of story and creating new story lines on multiple playthroughs.
TLDR: fk BIOWARE and the piece of sht that is DA2, TW2 is a triple AAA title RPG gamers deserve, and it was released by an independant company. Step up your game BIOWARE, don`t fk up ME3 and don`t release anymore DA, you killed the IP - congrats..!

Mr. Laidlaw listed the choices needed to make for the new direction of RPGs to avoid genre death!
The Witcher 2 killed RPGs! The fools are running into their doom!

When my adrenaline bar fills up and I press "X" Geralt goes all fatality crazy on everybody near him.
Does that count?

TW2's awsum button is even more awsum!
Those l33t anime finishers from the DA2 trailers didn't even make it to the game!

... Super glad about it. Maybe BioWare will wake up and do something semi-decent now...

Well they got me long time ago.
Plus I really didn't like Witcher 1.
If nothing interesting comes out this summer then I might check out this game.

That's like saying the Mass Effect fans and Dragon Age fans should get a long.

90% of people bought the game 'cos of DAO's success and BioWare's reputation (which was EA's goal). And 70% of people regret it (the rest are boot licking rapid fanboys).SuperFly_2000 wrote...

You think they didn't know DA2 won't be liked? They just cared to cash in, nothing else

He stuck his tounge on Bioware's boots. He considers Dragon $h!+ 2 to be Bioware second greatest game.Avalla'ch wrote...

Even if he gets The Witcher 2, his fanboy senses will get him to hate it and say it's nothing compared to Bioware's masterful Dragon Age 2

Well...in a way I understand you.
Myself I bought Neverwinter Nights 2 because I loved NWN1 so much.
I guess its a sales thing.
I knew Bioware was going too mainstream for me 10 years ago. Guess now it catched up with most of you as well. Game companies that big can unfortunately ONLY make casual games....that is just the way it is now.
Look to smaller companies I say.
Thats probably why people like The Wither 2....even though that is still no game for me...as I must have multiplayer or at least co-op.
