I have about 400 friend requests sitting there, staring at me. Considering how the site forces me to deal with each one individually I gave up on trying to keep up with them a long time ago. Sorry.

How about just me, then? :wizard:

Wouldn't Tevinter be just as good a setting for DA3 as Orlais, if not better?

I don't know. What plot did you have in mind? Whatever it is, I'll be it works great in Tevinter.

Well, since the Mage-Templar conflict will be central, the PC (Hawke/Warden/New PC) would go to Tevinter either to rally the Magisters against the Chantry through force and diplomacy (Mage Side) or spread subversion to bring down the Imperium altogether (Templar Side). Feynriel can appear as a powerful dreamer magister ally. Perhaps Morrigan can appear as an ally as well (Mage Side).

Secondary plots including a (likely unsuccessful) crusade against slavery in Tevinter with help from Fenris; dealing with the Tevinter-Qunari conflict at first hand- either defend Tevinter and negotiate peace with the Qunari (Hawke is very suited for the role), or betray the Tevinters to the Qunari and lead the Qunari Fleet in a surprise amphibious assault. Isabela can be involved in both sides, and her ship will lead in the naval battles.

A few excursions into Orlais to either report to the White Divine (Templar Side) or to assassinate her (Mage Side). If assasination is chosen, Leliana will be the sub-boss.

Sounds good enough?

TL;DR: You'll get the chance to lead a Qunari Fleet to land in and reconquer Tevinter. Few things could beat that.

Who took Anders' cat away?

Nobody. Ser Pounce-a-lot was possessed by the spirit of Justice, and transformed his body to look like his former owner. Then one day he chased a mouse onto a ship and ended up in Kirkwall. It was the weirdest thing.

Hey, look at that. Mr. Gaider is back to posting regularly.

I remembering reading somewhere that Anders, if killed, was to remain dead. But is it dead, dead, or dead as in there is still the possibility of Justice wandering around in Anders' corpse.

Knowing the answer to this will let me sleep peacefully at night. Rly.

Does that incidental NPC in the keep ever get in? He's been waiting all day.

All day for seven years.

Now one I've been wondering for a while. Orsino's harvester transformation. Is he supposed to be an actual harvester as we know them from GoA, or is it a model recycle and he's just a weird... flesh golem abomination thing?

He's a creature formed by demonic possession and the transmutation of flesh-- so the same end result as the harvester, but not the same means.

Ah yes that fits in with Amgarrak's lore that we gathered...

Honestly though the transformation for Orsino on pro-mage playthroughs could've been handled better. Hawke doesn't even react to Orsino's mentioning of Quentin. No matter what, if we save mages and they stay alive they still die. The battle was too easy and didn't reflect enough of how grim the situation looked for the mages.

@Ish: Yay!

Also, will we see an official timeline of events so that all this confusion over when the hell things happened, well, happened? Because it's really confusing all of usImage IPB

Will we ever get another big slice of dwarf content, or did it end with Orzammar in Origins?

Sten will be promoted to Arishok, just you wait. If you killed the Arishok in DA2, he's dead. If you let him take Isabella, he retires because he was older than he looked.

Ahh, so then the harvester is a very rare type of abomination rather than a specific creation by some foolish dwarves and magisters. Interesting. Thank you for the clarification.

Don't pretend you don't spend inordinate amounts of time pondering the usage of vaginal excreta in the DA setting. That's why we're all here, right?

The one with the munchies, duh!

Thank the Lord we didn't have to kill him in DA2. Otherwise, I would reallllyyy hate Hawke.
