Simple question. I like knowing people's opinions

As for me: I predict having either everybody on the cover of ME3, or just Shepard. (Maybe not even Shepard, maybe just a close-up of the N7 or Spectre logo)

I don't know who I'd like to see on the box. How about Garrus? Wait, he's already on the box. Maybe Grunt? Or how about Thane? Wait, I want to see Mordin! No, Tali deserves that spot. But how about that James-or-something guy we don't know about, except that he's a squaddie? But Liara's pretty cool! And so is Wrex!

As you can see, it doesn't really matter for me; so long as it looks cool, and has characters I like (or will get to like), I will have fun all the same. But it still doesn't mean people's opinions don't matter either

I think they need to take cues from the starwars covers. Those were amazing covers that are iconic now. They need to have a different person do this cover because the one for ME2 was terrible. Or they could have all the squaddies in a row like in Halo Reach. That was an awesome cover. I just hope they do justice to the most important characters while still utilizing marketing techniques (Ash and Miranda on the cover for sex appeal, garrus for badassery). The rejected ME1 covers are awesome if someone wants to just use one of those.

Anything that isn't as terrible as the ME2 standard cover.

I agree totally, DLC. The first time I saw a cover where the characters looked completely different from the in-game models. I never really got over that.

I'm almost certain, given the extensive "EPICification" they are giving the storyline (not that it's a bad thing), they'll either have everybody on the cover, or nobody on the cover, perhaps showing a Reaper instead. It'd be a bit counter-intuitive to put just a few people on, because a storyline that is expanding to encompass an entire galaxy just doesn't fit with a cover suggesting focus on a few select people as Shepard's "true buddies for life".

Actually, who do you think that new female is? For some reason, I thought she was a reintroduction of Ash without that horrible hair-bun.
It still is fun to see all the opinions, though.

You know as positive as I have been about Bioware in all of their endeavors... The cover is something I am pessimistic about. ME2 cover was just atrocious.

Luckily if it turns out to suck, ill just print out sheps raep face and put that on the cover.

Half is the default Shepard face
other half is half the earth
and the backround is the incoming reapers

I think something like the cover of Lost - season 1 is a good example.

They could have all of the potential squad members in a row, with some or all of them just shadows. Or maybe they should have something centered around the actual story. A partially destroyed/burning Earth perhaps?

My best hopes are for "screenshot". If "a girl could dream" situation, then I'd change Liara on Miranda, but I'm almost certain Liara will be there. Not so sure about third character, it may be that new James as well.

Jack and Wrex will most likely be cameos, so I doubt that would work. I vote JUST Shepard. That way no matter who died it won't matter, and we won't get any new squadmates spoiled. (Also femshep would be nice, but I know that ain't happening)

That's been my favourite cover design I have seen, though I think something like this would be more likely to be used for the Collectors Edition than the standard box
