So, is that conversation the reason people don't like him? I think he's great fun. It has been pointed out to me before now that I'm 'weird'.

@CalJones - I'm such a good explorer o.O. I never noticed him hanging about. Shouldn't he have thrown himself between the Viscount and the Qunari?
Eh, well, then, to answer the OP's question - I'd keep him on. Love his VA using that posh tone (sounds very different to Sebastian) and the way he says 'wounded coast' so portentiously in Act 1. He is useful for doing paperwork and pretty to look at. What else does one need in a secretary?
Anyone know who his voice actor is? I am dying to see if it is the same guy in another game with several people who sound JUST like him.
I wouldn't throw myself at the Arishok in the middle of a battle if I were him though either. < shameless hussying> Throw myself at the Arishok, sure, but not in the middle of battle.

@CJ - really? I might have to boot up a save just to chat with him. I wonder what else I've missed? Lots no doubt.

I'm not sure if its that conversation specifically. I think he's a hoot myself.

He told me everything I needed to know about how to seize power in Kirkwall, I owe him that much at least.
Oh yes, he keeps his job.

That said, I would certainly keep Bran on board. He's handy, and my main Hawke is a glorious bastard who would certainly attempt to ravish him.
He seems a tad more sane than Anders, at least.

Hell, Dog is a tad more sane than Anders; it's a pretty low bar to meet. And Dog is better at card games, too.
Gotta say, though, Seneshal Bran certainly dresses pretty. I would like to change my vote from "Keep His Job, with a Raise" to "Full-Time Love Slave with a Medical Plan."
