While with alistair this was possible,Leliana was pretty much prebuilt as an archer.
A lot of sacrifices had to be made to make her even half-decent as a dual wield rogue.
And that game didnt offer respeccing without mods.
I would rather refer to Awakening in this case.

Okay this complaint always irks the tar out of me for some reason. If you know that the convos are finite (because they are) then why keep talking to them until you run out of convos? I mean, the first time you played I can see that maybe being a problem because sometimes people just want to keep clicking away. But you don't have to do that.

I guess it irks me as it makes it sound like people didn't have control, when you had more control over when, where, and how often you spoke to them than you do in DA2. In DA2 I get a lot less with my companions than I did in DAO, for all the possibility it might run out before I was ready.

Better to run out of convo than have hardly any at all. And I don't want my hand held on where and when, thanks.

its funny when dao was done i just wanted more now da3 is actualy announced just seems kind of sad

Wow, Shepard must be really bad if s/he compares favourably to the character who managed to be "the most important person in the world" by simply being around when others made all the important desicions!
