But what with all the serious discussions and hype, I thought it'd be fun to have a thread devoted to goofy and/or ridiculous Mass Effect 3 story ideas and speculation. I'll start it off with an appropriately silly idea I had after starting a new playthrough of ME1 tonight:

MASS EFFECT 3: THE FINAL BATTLE
The Reapers were attacking Earth, and Commander Shepard had to stop them. There were lots of them and they were killing everybody in London. Shepard had traveled the galaxy and gotten a lot of good aliens to help him fight against the Reapers, but it wasn’t enough. The Reapers were too strong and there were so many that they could only beat a few of them.
Shepard and his friends were trying to fight the main Reaper. They were losing when Shepard suddenly had an idea.
The Reaper looked at Shepard and said, “We are too many. You cannot stop us. Surrender and we will spare the rest of the humans.”
Shepard said, “You think you’ve won, but there’s one thing you’re forgetting...”
“What’s that?” said the Reaper.
“MASS EFFECT!”
And then Shepard electrocuted the Reaper with a positive charge. It made the Reaper really heavy because of the mass effect so it crashed into the ground and died. Shepard called all of the other good guys and told them how to beat the Reapers, and that’s how they saved the galaxy.
