Is some character data uploaded to Bioware and is it possible to recover it drom their server? my Xbox HDD crashed and everything is gone

There is no data stored externally from your own storage, so I'm afraid on that front you are out of luck. At least that is what has been conveyed when others have asked a similar question under similar circumstances.

This is why Bioware should let us be able to back up our saves on the 360.

The HDD just broke... I had it tested with HDD checking tools at a store and they said as well that it's broken... I'll get a new one from MS, but all savegames are gone... There should be some kind of online backup to Bioware servers (character data and choices)

As far as I am aware the only real info the forums keep are to do with the DA games, but no real specifics. You'll have noticed that there is no reference to any of your ME games (game progress or characters for example), so I would hazard a guess that there is no character code uploaded to the servers.
