They're probably just not physically fit enough for space travel, so we don't see any of them while we're traveling the galaxy. Maybe there will be a whole bunch of them on Earth in ME3 though.

Spacetravel is probably like taking the train in ME. I mean, if Joker can sit on his butt and be physically fit to PILOT a damn ship, a fat guy can sit on his ass in a transporter and look out the window.

2186....

Also...

No one wants to see fat people.
No one wants to waste resources making people see fat people.

Game limitations and the universes excuse/reasoning is genetic enhancement.

Personally I don't mind it, would be nice if they could add fat models in a future game or something...maybe if they get a much more massive budget or something.

I guess you could just say fat humans are people in Volus suits or something?

If you took your adjective and replaced it with another trait like black, gay or jew or any other race, religion etc... and your statement would be terribly offensive, then perhaps you shouldn't say it at all.

If it's not ok to harass African Americans or Jews then why is it ok to harass fat people?

People live past a hundred through genetic engineering, etc. I imagine that obesity would be considered a disease to be eliminated due to the generally negative impact on one's healthy when one is overweight.

Purely for ease of graphics....note that each species do not really range much in height within their own species also.

For health reasons it might make sense if I didn't remember seeing a few smokers ingame.
Seeing also though that some people actually preferr 'fat' people in therms of sexual arrousal, it's a strange thing to wipe from existence.

As a joke: Maybe they stuck them all in a seperate colony, and lost the star-charts for it.

I'd assume that if by the year 2185, humans can render smoking absolutely harmless, they can do the same for obesity via putting metabolisms into overdrive.

Well most humans we have seen have either been colonist who work hard and eat rations, or alliance military, maybe back on earth there are some tubbies.

Once we've eradicated the fat people, those who prefer them will adapt or die.  Then our slim new reich can continue into a glorious new millenium!

If they can cure all the nasty side effects to a cigarette in ME then Im confident they can fix obesity. I think the OP is just a chubby chaser.

Look, technically it's not 'OK' to harass anyone, but I would not put it anywhere near the same category as racism. Prejudice against a race or religion or sexual preference is a ten on a scale of ten and hating on fatties is a one.

The amount of legitimately fat people due to genetic predisposition is a very small percentage of the obese population. The rest are just lazy pigs. I know this because I'm a lazy pig. I make no excuses for my weight problem and only have my self to blame. Anyone who blames anyone else but themselves for their weight issues is just copping out.

Being a fatty is a choice (for the vast majority) and it's a choice that negatively affects everyone in your society. It is akin to smoking as it doesn't just affect you personally and is a selfish behaviour. When there are people starving on our planet and you're eating three or four times the amount of food you need, then that's two to three other people who could've eaten that day. Then you have the effect on healthcare (heart disease, diabetes), the effect on public services (public transport, sewerage) and the negative emotional impact on your friends and family.

My I politely ask why somebody would want to see fat people in the game? Couldn't they just go to San Antonio instead?

Or gender. Humans and Quarians are the only races we've seen with both males and females represented in-game.
