Hey folks! Just posted a new thread today about DA3 and what you think may be in it, and also WHO you may control this time.


Now I have heard rumours that you continue as the Warden. . But I think that you continue as Hawke? Because if you think about it, at the end of DA2 (SPOILERS) Cassandra and Leliana are both seekers, trying to find out about Hawke, and at the end they go and travell to find her/him. So you may have Cassandra as your companion in DA3, but I wanna know your opinions too

(e.g I know there may be a forum like this already, but this was just a quick thread to see who can put ideads into my head )

New character set in Orlais. I could stand continuing as Hawke, but I never want to play as the Warden again.

I think it will be another Fereldan, someone new that we haven't seen yet. Orlais is going to be attacking the country, trying to take advantage of the insecurity and upheaval from the chantry mess and/or perhaps reconstitute its political controls as the divine struggles to reassert itself through Thedas. I do think the Warden and Hawke will be involved in saving the day towards the very end.

I'm pretty sure at least some of it will be in Orlais (Bodahn and Sandal heading there) and will revolve around the collapse of the Chantry (given the White Divine is there) and revolt of the templars and mages.

I wouldn't mind being Hawke again but I too have no desire to play as the Warden. I really hope that we get to play someone new, but I would like Hawke and the Warden's tales to be wrapped up, ultimately (even if it's in the form of some sort of epilogue). I'd also hope Varric is back.

I really hope it's not set in Orlais. I've never met an Orlesian character who I haven't found annoying. I vote for The Tevinter Imperium.

Also, I'd love a chance to play as my Warden again. I loved her so much. I think it'll probably be a new character, though.

Hawke and the Warden are both missing at the end...no coincidence according to Leliana. Which makes me suspect Mr Gaider has plans for them. I'm not sure we'll encounter them in a game (after all, everyone's wardens are wildly different) but it'd be nice to hear something about them.

Then again, Revan and the Exile... (sigh)

Orlais sounds fun but even Cumberland would be more interesting or Tevinter (with the mages being free)

Hmmmm Nice thoughts. But I thought that you continue as Hawke seeing as He/she goes off at the end with his/her lover (or if not, then alone) And Cassandra is looking for her, along with Leliana, so it must continue as Hawke if she's going after her. . . Hmmm I don't know =\\. . . I wish to be somone as good as Hawke and the warden anyway. And fenris is with my Hawke too So i still wanna be with him. lol

Its probably gonna be in Orlais. If it is in Orlais I hope they have better voice acting. Actually as long as the Orleisians don't sound like Dulsi I'll be happy

I wouldn't mind Orlais but I honestly hope that its not in Antiva. As much as I love Zevran I can't stand the other voice actors. The accent drives me bonkers. It just...irritates me. The Orleasian one does too but not that extent.

If this is to be the last installment of the Dragon Age franchise then I hope its in Tevinter. The game/story should rightfully end there.

I doubt the warden will show up again...at least, not as a playable character but it would be nice to see Hawke again.

Nononono! Don't say that! Don't give them ideas! The franchise must go on! 
.. *ahem* Anyway, I actually agree. If it were to end, Tevinter would make sense, especially with the mage situation over there. 
Otherwise, if we've got a few more games ahead of us I wouldn't mind Orlais. As far as who you'll be playing, I'm thinking someone new, possibly a Seeker, looking for Hawke/the Warden/something else entirely, Cassandra being a possible companion. 'Course, doubt there are mage Seekers, so that wouldn't work... So I'unno. Could be anything, but honestly I hope we get a new character, and then maybe epilogs or something to wrap up Hawke and the Warden's stories (unless the Warden's dead, then their story is already done).

Trust me, if the games keep selling, EA will keep on milking that cash cow. Look at ME. It was planned as a trilogy but now it seems that's no longer the case (although Shepard's story will be done, that much is confirmed). Since DA was never planned as a trilogy, there's no reason not to do more games providing we keep buying them.

I'm hoping it continues as Hawke. DA2 didn't have a satisfactory ending for me and I want to continue on as Hawke. Here's to hoping. Maybe somewhere like Rivain or nevarra. Might be interesting. Personally I'm hoping for the Tevinter Imperium!

I think it will be set in Orlais, and you'll play as either Hawke or a new character. Being the warden back would WAY too difficult b/c of all the different choices you can make concerning the warden's background, personality, etc. I personally hope a game takes place in the Tevinter Imperium someday. We can only hope. (Sigh)

It'll probably be in Orlais like a lot of the others said - they elude to it too much and that's where Leiliana came from. Val Royeaux and all that. (sp). As for who you play as? No idea. Hopefully it won't be a bust though.

It will be in Orlais no doubt. The protagonist being someone new.
