To improve on the series Bioware has to:
Get rid of reused areas!
Coherent story that is not disjointed
No plotholes!
No glitches(although I doubt this will litterally happen)
and Romances that feel genuine not just clicking on a heart to unlock a sex scene!

I bet it will continue story from DA2. I also bet you will be able to choose character to play, somewhat like Origin. And I also bet your choices will be Warden(import or new custom) or Hawke(import or new custom) or Cassandra(custom) or Varric(custom).

And please, save yourself the trouble of pointing out to me the error of my ways. I feel what I feel. Imo, Hawke is only worthy of contempt.

I really and truly don't want to play Hawke again. She is (imo) the worst PC I've ever had the displeasure of playing. Thank the gods that she was never, ever *my* Hawke. Those time-skips make her look like the stupidest person that ever stumbled into the "Champion" moniker ever. Huzzah for Aveline.

Too many people are programmed to need a boring DAO/BG hero a super bad icky monster. I'm glad BioWare is challenging people's preconceived notions. It's a shame so many are shrinking away from the future.

I heard that too. And it is confirmed to come out 31 February 2013
Do we have an official projected release date? If this is it, I will officially be sitting this one out. <_<

If it ain't gonna be like BG2 then it will suck.
Even though BG2 is my personal favorite RPG of all time(well, second only to PS:T), I just wanted them to refine all of Origins' elements that needed polishing, not remove the stuff that worked and ad even more issues(waves, re-cycled maps and so on).

Dragon Age 2 is the future of RPGs like the autogyro is the future of aviation. Instead of the past where you made choices that mattered and could change the game world DA2 takes the revolutionary step of pretending you can make choices when in fact they don't matter at all. You do what the developers want you to do as you watch their crappy straight to DVD fantasy movie.

I hope Hawke returns. Talk about having it all over the Warden! Oh wait, the Warden can't talk, so it looks like Hawke wins.

Too many people are programmed to not read anymore or think for themselves. You must be glad that Bioware isn't challenging any of your faculties. It's a shame that you prefer living in the dark ages.

Don't be silly. If, for some reason, the future only holds retard-games like DA2, we still won't be "shrinking away from the future". It's just that things like watercolor painting, motorcycle maintenance, guitar playing, embroiding, surfing, chess, gardening, etc will see a slight upswing.

I agree with most of your points there, but I think that romances are genuinely unnecessary and futile, although they add some reality, and some spice to the game, but I could live without it, love and occasional kissing would be enough, and it would take some PG rating off the game. Your 100% correct about the reused areas, and the incoherent story. Glitches are inevitable, but I hope that they will be sure to remove all the ones that give you infinite gold and Exp, because those ruin the whole point of the game, and the thrill to ascend a level. I have other suggestions of improvements, but they are so big and controversial, that they'll need other threads.TheNugget wrote...

HIGH FIVE! The game's going to rock, provided they take hints from DAO rather than any nods.
