I for one will not get DA2 until i see all the reviews, the metacritic user reviews (Yes i am smart enough to disregard the fanboys and haters) and even then Bioware will have to NOT be more marketing company than developer company for me to even do that.

Im afraid i wont believe Bioware are capable of releasing good games until i see it now. ME2 was average and DA2 was less entertaining than watching week old paint drying on the great wall of China.

You mean DA3, correct?

Being on this forum I have noticed the Bioware 'hardcore fans' are just a pretentious load of morons who are so self entitled it is unbelievable. In life they are probably nobodys who have no power and are real loser's. So they come on the forum to complain at everything to try and pretend they have some degree of power when they have nothing and are NOTHING.
self-appointed superiority

I agree, largely, though I have a BIT more of a positive view of those games than you. I have been a bit confused as to why everyone says ME2 is so awesome, because it didn't feel better than "good with some flaws" to me (companions in particular often felt like they had sent cardboard cutouts to go with me onto a planet).

TOO BAD. END OF LINE.
In all seriousness though, I believe this marks the end of Bioware. Requiem in Pacem; you've made some great games in the past and will be missed.
I guess it falls now to Obsidian, Bethesda (who also made a mediocre game in the past but actually LEARNED FROM IT'S MISTAKES, BIOWARE), CDProjekt, and Piranha Bytes to carry on the torch of making good WRPGs.

Also it's time for the DA series to get a major graphics overhaul. It's 2011, and it's safe to say that DA3 won't be out until at least 2013. So how about a game that looks like it came out before 2005.

With that said I dont feel DA2 lived up to other Bioware games because it has almost zero playability. One thing that makes Bioware games great too is the ability to replay the game with it still feeling new.
But i am overall not happy about DA2, DLC speak volume of where they want to take it too if you ask me. So when it comes to DA3, I doubt ill preorder it. I will wait for the reviews and not get the game because it has Dragon Age in the title.
Oh and I hope they change the Darkspawn back, they arent a bunch of clowns like DA2 portrays.

I guess you could say the BW team has learned from their mistakes, but only time will tell that story.

[Tell that to CNN and other major News networks. Tell that to Newt Gingrich who announced his Run for presidency on twitter. It doesnt mean bupkis. I'm also pretty sure that the Development team, the team in charge of its creation or development would be informed or check if it got cut before looking to hire people. face it old man i winB)
You win? An unsubstantiated twitter post means nothing. Trust me on this because I've been around the financial block. If a project or IP is ghoing to be cut, the people on that project are the last to know. Always.
That's just the way it works. Also he was looking to possibly hire a group of people for a group of hypothetical future games one of which might be DA3.
Really that's it. It's about as official as our posts here and should be regarded as such.
Sheesh......

I agree, until Bioware announce it is a lie.
Now lets start running in circle and screaming about the end of the world

I was happy with DA2. When it finished, it made me want to play the next installment. Thats what a game should do. However, it was like the Modern Warfare 2 of RPGs. It made as many steps forward as it made backwards. How hard would it have been to gloss over that door in a cave with rock or something instead of just a concrete slab? Then taking that area off the mini-map. I got OCD and have to explore every damn inch there is and loot everything. Sucked when I'd run out of my way a bit just to what might as well have been an invisible wall.

Let me get this straight: You didn't like the game because you could choose to be gay?Fathnir wrote...
What's that? You don't want to buy a new Dragon Age game very year as if it was cowadoody? You want an RPG that doesn't feature a flaming homosexual as it's protagonist?
What, the, hell...
I mean sure, I generally don't agree with most complaints for DA2, but I see what they mean. This is just ridiculous.

I think DA3 should go back to letting you pick to be a Elf or Dwarf and Human and maybe even Qunri I'm bored with just playing as a human with the same background story
that would likely entail no VA. nothing was more boring than responding to every dialogue with yes/no and one sentence responses.

This is probably the most toxic and laughable post ive seen anywhere on these forums, way to raise the bar
