Anyone know?
The ME wiki doesn't say and i can't remember it ever being referenced in any of the games.
Both Meer and Hale (and BioWare) are Canadian, so it would be logical for Shep to be Canadian since they apparently have a slight canadian accent (I can't hear it since english is my second language), so the Seattle/Vancouver area sounds resonable.
Since we'll get to visit earth, it would be kind of cool if we got to "go home" and meet some of the 10th Street Reds.
Which city is earthborn Shepard from?

I would say probably Vancouver, but hell they probably want to leave it up to interpretation.

I think it's deliberately left ambiguous so that the player can decide where Shepard's from. Accents don't mean much in Mass Effect- Captain Anderson for example is British but has an American accent.

I dunno- on one hand, I like the ambiguity because I can say my Shepard is from *insert exotic faraway place here* and no one can contradict me.
On the other hand, it'd be pretty silly to visit Vancouver in ME3 and not give an Earthborn any story hooks, especially considering that both VAs fit the bill.

Not quite, there are still different cities and even if it were, there would still be diffierent areas (city districts) on the planet, most likely named after the city that originally was there.
The Creberus daily news speaks of Mexico City and the info about ME3 mentions several locations on earth.

Shepard is from Edmonton. Hometown support is why the Edmonton Blood Dragons gave Shepard that Blood Dragon Armor.

Well s/he's definitely from somewhere with crime. I'm thinking the opposite of Mr. Kusy. The downtrodden underbelly of megalopolis sounds exactly where an Earthborn Shepard is from.
