I was reading the ME wiki page for Earth, and saw that it has a population of roughly 11.5 billion. This is the vast majority of the human population in the galaxy. Let's say it's 12 billion alltogether.

I then recalled one of the councillars in ME1 say that the decisions of the council affects trillions of people, when Shepard urged them to take the reapers more seriously. Trillions

It got me curious as to how enormous the populations of the other space-faring species must be. The Quarians and Krogan numbers seem pretty low. There aren't that many other species to chose from (that have been introduced, anyway)

I tried to look around some, to see if any other population numbers had been stated, but found nothing
