My Dragon Age Origins Deluxe CD has a crack from the center, probably from too much playing but hey... its dragon age.I also noticed that the crack keeps on getting bigger and it scares me that there might be a day that I'll be unable to play DAO because of it.
Is there some way to get a new CD without buying a new one or who do I talk to in order to fix this problem?

Is it even possible to have the original CD replaced? Is there any way of saving the hardware so I don't have to buy another?

Yes, Presbydos. You can get a replacement disc for a shipping fee, (I think it's US$5) or maybe even better, (depending on your connection speed and if you feel you have to have a physical copy) a replacement digital download of "Dragon Age" (so you don't even need a disc) by contacting EA Customer Service and explaining the situation about your damaged one.Presbydos wrote...

You'll need to use your EA/BioWare account to log-on to the help system (same one you used to authorize your DLC) and the 20-character activation code from your original copy.
Here's the link: customersupport.ea.com/loginapp/cp/login-dragonage.do
BTW: I have found it worthwhile to use the "Live Chat" process. I've gotten good results every time that way. But it does take some trying to get the link to appear. You have to give answers to a bunch of different questions then their system has to figure out that it doesn't have the answers already stored. (Kinda' like some voicemail systems...)
Good Luck!

For the digital version, you don't even need to go through EA support - registering your CD-key should entitle you to a self-serve digital copy of the game via the EA Download Manager.
