Will the facial scarring from ME2 if you were mostly Renegade carry over into ME3? What if you started your Shepard with the very noticeable scarring at the end of ME2 into ME3 and then if you continued to be Renegade in ME3, the scarring would make you look unrecognizable, almost deformed

I think the only neat thing about that were the glowing red eyes.

I like the Renegade scarring, it almost symbolizes that Shepard is starting look like Saren, Saren had glowing blue eyes and some scarring on this face

I agree! I just wish the renegade could've healed the scars, and left the eyes.

I hope that ME3 keeps the eyes at the very least!

I hope paragons were going to get the blue eyes. But yeah. Kinda weired.

I tried healing my renegade Shep's scars but I had to load because it made her look too innocent without them. I think the problem was that she had a pretty big scar in ME1 so I wasn't used to her having no scars at all.
I wouldn't mind if the scars have healed a bit by ME3 but I hope there is still some sign of them.

If they get rid of the scars on imported Renegades, I hope they come up with a good reason to how they disappear all of a sudden. It will kind of ruin the immersion for me if they just are just magically erased without an explanation.

"well, Shepard, alll your scars are gone because we've kept you sitting around for the investigation and have given you time to heal without the constant stimuli of work that made your hormones act up and mess with the implants..." or better yet, "ah yes, renegade scarring....". Or whatever wizards BW usesto explain them away (if they go)

Doesn't really take wizards, we know there is a procedure to repair the scars, if you didn't take advantage of it it's presumably because you thought spending 50,000 units of Platinum on your vanity was not a good idea (and rightly so). Now that the mission is over there's no pressing need to be frugal with your resources and maybe, just maybe, Shep decides (off camera) that going to trial with glowing red eyes and scars would not kick things off to a great start.

It probably isn't medically sensible to leave that problem untreated forever, in which case it would make sense to get it fixed eventually.

Looks like the kind of excuse we'll have to accept if they don't allow to import Shepard with these cool ME 2 scars and glowing eyes.

I hate the scarring. It's like moral decisions have physical effects. I can't express how much I absolutely despise that idea. We're not in a fantasy world, damn it. And that removing it costs more than any single upgrade is an insult of epic proportions. Did I say I hate the idea?

ME2-style facial scarring begone! I want my cool scars from ME1 back!

Shepard's face eventually falls off to reveal the machine within.

^^ In second ME3 screenshot, I think you can see some scarring on Shepard's face, kinda like at the start of ME2

Looks like no ME1 scars, sides I doubt they would go backwards with the whole face customization and besides who wants to create an all new Shepard in ME3 and include some (if true) new ME1 style scars?

I honestly hope the get rid of P/R affecting your appearance, it works in SW games because of the Dark side of the Force. However, it just seems silly when the game more or less straight up tells you that being pragmatic = you are a monster therefore you should look like one.

One feature from KOTOR that should just stay there!

What they SHOULD do is give you the option of keeping the Renegade scars, or allowing you to have the scars you had in ME1 or new ones or none.

Shepard stands trial. The place is blown up by Reaper agents. Shepard's face get's blown off. Facial reconstruction is successful, but a few scars are left due to time constraints.

I want ME1-style scars too. I'd have forced Shepard to put a hot knife accross his face in ME2, given the option :?

I was disappointed that you couldn't choose to have the scars or not. Tying it to morality was silly.

Sometimes paragons want to go terminator too.

I think it would be a good idea, but they didn't keep the scars from ME1 imports to ME2.

I loved the scars in ME and was disappointed to lose them in ME2. The Renegade scarring and red eyes totally failed for me - especially because no one comments on your worsening facial appearance! I don't need an outer representation of Shepard's inner morality choices - after all I make them for him/her. So, there's always a trip to the Med Bay to get completely healed if I play Renegade. For ME3 it would be nice to acquire a scar or two, depending on how the game progresses.
