 Hey, all. 

Having just picked up ME2 a few days ago and having played it since then I love it. However, now I've come to a point where I'm pulling my hair out in frustration when I try to continue on. 

I'm doing Jacob's loyalty mission, The Gift of Greatness. I've arrived at the planet, found the anomaly, and go to land - but when I do, I go to the squad selection screen, where the only thing avaliable for selection is Jacob, and I can only hit INFO, and everyone else is replaced by a datapad-looking thing. No way to exit other then manually closing the game. 

I've searched everywhere and I cannot find any solutions. I'm at my breaking point. Can someone give me a hand? Thanks.

I'm going to guess corrupted file and suggest a re-install.

May also be a corrupted save in which you have the option to use a Gibbed style editor to alter the save to give back the characters you should have and make the loyalty correct for them. You can try this one........

You may want to try a going back to a save from before the mission before trying anything drastic. I have had trouble with the auto saves corrupting before. always make a manual save before going on a mission.

It was a manual save I did.

I would almost bet you money that if you try to reuse that save it will still have that issue. Characters are kept in saves and thus would be carried over to the new install unless you just erased and started over. You can try and see, but you will probably have to roll back to earlier save, start over, or edit the save and try to salvage it.
