I don't know about the rest of you xbox players out their. but I think it really ridiculous that we have to pay about 320 points to download Genesis and PS3 players get it free. Am I right or am I wrong?

Playstation players get many things for free, but, they never will get Mass Effect. Ergo, I think if anything they should be the ones complaining don't you?

Then don't buy it. Bioware isn't twisting your arm.

And you can play Mass Effect. the PS3 users don't get that option

PC and Xbox 360 players can edit savegames with Gibbed's save game editor, which I don't think is available for PS3. And of course, they have ME1, which PS3 players will never have. Seems fair enough to me.

yeah I know I don't have to buy it, but I'm talking about xbox players as a whole. I could understand paying for the other dlc but this one is just hurting it self. And some people believe or not don't like the first one.

Indeed,  but,  lets try to keep the snark to a minimum shall we?  They received all of the ME2 DLC outside of Arrival.  I don't really see a problem with this as they are missing the first game in the series.  I think it's a rather even trade off all things considered.

Yeah but Mass effect on PS3 is an Abomination like FFXIII on Xbox 360 is too... This comic should be free for everyone and BioWare should release those DLC they gave or sold to PS3 players to the rest of their fanbases... you know, the dudes who actually MADE THEM WHERE THEY ARE.

It's like if you're always working at the same place for like 5 years, working hard, giving the best of you, then the ''just hired'' guy arrives and get every single promotions when you do have nothing. it sucks, you feel betrayed...

Oh. My. God.

It's just a stupid comic book to fill in for Mass Effect. And it is like four dollars.

Who the **** you think ''payed'' this comic at the first place ? The goddamn money you paid buying Mass Effect 2 and they roman legion of DLCs. You gave them the money to putted on ressources AND Profits... I allow marketing campaigns and all that other stuff to get ''new players''... but goddamn we we're firsts and we made them where they are. Just look at all those games on my signature, except both Dragon Age, does a ''Playstation only'' gamer could have somewhere and somehow have played them ? Frickin' not.

It's a cheap DLC. That doesn't even expand the gaming experiance other than swapping some choices around, which I can do for free anyway.

Chill out.

I bought it.

You may thank me personally for destroying any effort to punish Bioware for charging their original fanbase for free content, if you wish.

I'm also getting a lot of good out of it. Making new files without playing through 2 full games is amazing. Almost intuitive...

Mass Effect 1 is less than $20 for more than 20 hours of gameplay, ergo less than $1 per hour of entertainment.

Mass Effect Genesis is roughly $4 for 15 minutes of comic sequences.

Just buy the game, You'll be a lot more entertained.

Not everyone wants to play 120+ hours of a completely different game just so that they can make the files they want to make on the game they want to play.

Well, I probably should have worded it differently then.

For those that have the time, Mass Effect 1 is a much better deal and provides much more entertainment.

However, I do not have a problem with Genesis being $4, since that is still extremely cheap. If it helps provide you with choices to use in Mass Effect 2, then by all means use it.

And if someone really wants to be nitpicky: Yes, it is cheaper than just buying Mass Effect 1, but no, it should not be free.

You can already do that and more for free using the save game editor on both the PC and Xbox 360.  You will also be able to do it for free when Mass Effect 3 comes out because that will have a save game editor at the beginning.  This is nothing but a complete and utter waste of money.

Now you can argue that it is only $4 and that is true, but they are basically charging you $4 for a 15 minute video.  As much as I love the Mass Effect series I think it is a bit of a con to essentially charge people for a 15 minute video.

Well I prefer going the safe and easy route and just using the software they give me.

The only reason I'm not waiting to use the ME3 decision maker is that they will probably give players with ME2 imports some nice little bonuses. I can understand why others might not feel it's worth it, but it was cheap for the amount of convenience it gave me.

It was a requirement for PS3 players to actually make some choices from the first game, and it was a year old game relaunching at full price. Even with all the DLC included you could still buy the entire 360 or PC version for less.

I see no problem with charging for Genesis on 360 and PC.

It's not like PS3 players had a choice in the matter. They would've paid for the game sooner, but they had to wait...and with wait, comes a cheaper price point. Full price for an old game with all DLC and one extra that's only needed because the first game isn't on the console? Makes sense.

Frankly, you'd pay the same for less content if it were just an issue of a comic. The price isn't THAT horrible, to be honest.
