I played DA1 but it's been awhile since I've played or read anything on either DA1 or 2. What time period is DA2 set in? After the events of DA1, or during? Seems it's during the blight taking over Lothering (or I mis hear/read in game?) so far which is early on in DA1, but I met what I guess is Flemeth and she looked different..... which makes me confused.
Confused about timeline

yeah...DA2 starts after your DAO party leaves Lothering and the Darkspawn overrun it....DAO ends while your Hawke is working the year for the smuggler/merc

Pay no attention to the Flemeth behind the curtain.
These aren't the timelines you're looking for.

Consistent timelines are a nasty rumor. We have chosen to disregard that.

The harder question is how do Awakening and Witch Hunt fit into that, particularly with regards to Anders, Justice, and Sandal.

Might be this way, but doesnt make sense, if Bioware was given more time i suppose it would have made more sense. Sandal and Bodahn is the greatest issue with the timeline.
DA:O and DA II timeline. timeline is a bit weird
Seems like Origins and Awakening timespan was just during a year,
Fifth blight and Awakening seemed to end after Hawke had paid of his debts with the Mercs/Smugglers(Which took a year). so then the fereldan healer(Anders) was in Kirkwall.
And Witch hunt should play out somewhere between Act 1-3 in DA II when Flemeth is alive during the acts. but Sandal and Bodahn might went at the end of act 1 to Ferelden to sell the things to the PC(During Witch hunt) from the expedition as a traveling merchant.
Witch hunt may have ended at the time skip between act 1-2, or at the end of act 2-3.
Three years after Varric gets interrogated.
Cassandra said "Gone, Just like the Warden" so they looked after him first it would seem?
Leliana said that it was no coincidence both "The Warden" and "The Champion" were gone, first The Warden and then The Champion.
This is the only way i could put it, yet i am not entirely certain.
