I seem to have gotten a bug. All armour drops i get says that they are restricted to Hawke and are greylisted for all other members of the party.
Suggestions on how to solve this?

This is not a bug. Only Hawke can equip armour, boots, gloves and helmets.

What Darth Wraith said; Companions keep the armour that they start with, though it can be "upgraded" when you find the relevant items in shops or loot.

The only thing you can do for companion armor is buy gifts that give bonuses like extra rune slots or increase defense. The Devs thought it would be great if your companions maintained a "Look" that only changed due to game events not what you like.

Plus, it reduces the complexity of the player's job regarding equipment choices. (Not saying whether I think this was a good move, but it was deliberate.) The Player focuses on Hawke's gear, and for the most part doesn't have to pay attention to the Companions'. They're big boys and girls and can take care of themselves. (Well, except for Merrill... 
)
