Hi, i just installed ME via stream a couple of hours ago and i still have not actually been able to play the game! When i start the game up it does load, however it is very slow and laggy. Just to load the initial ME new game screen it takes almost 15 minutes! Once that screen is loaded i can select new game or setting, however in order to move from new game to settings it takes almost 5 minutes to do so.
I tried running stream and ME as administrator, updated all my drivers, and tried the manual install of patch 1.02 and i am still having this same problem. I know that my computer is definatly good enough to play because it plays ME2 with no problems whats so ever!
here are my computer specs:

1) Drivers, updated/rolled back the the Audio Drivers and Video drivers?? Older games sometimes give issues on latest drivers. What are you currently running and what have you tried?
2) Audio Card?? What model/brand, Realtek had some issues with Win7 default drivers.
3) Set core Affinity to a single core, ME is old game and some multicore processors cause issues.--this has high probability to fix, no guarantees.
4) Disabling Steam overlay, may be interfering with ME.
5) Make sure game started a ME profile/save directory for your game, may be looking for something that glitched and wasn't created.
6) Make sure you run in compatibility mode for XP and as an Admin both.
7) Make sure directX 9.0c has been installed, 11 is not backwards compatible enough, but with ME2 installed it shouldn't be an issue.
