Okay so I killed Logain, made Alistair and Anora marry (not sure if I hardended him or not???) and didn't take any of Morrigans dark bargin options.
Since I'd been roleplaying a proper goody goody it only seemed right that I be the one to kill the dragon. So I start Awakeing having been told by my flatmate that I'll start as an Orlesian warden. Not too happy about it but I sucked it up and press play, import my character and there he is bright as day even with a love letter from Lelianna who was crying at his funeral!
So has it mapped my ending properly, will Al / Anora be on the throne and can I start as an Orlesian warden and still keep my end set up from this playthrough?
Just started Awakening - confused about tying into my ending of OC

I've never bothered importing a dead warden into Awakening. I do believe that the game honors the choices you've made in that playthrough of Origins but inexplicably ignores your Warden's greatest sacrifice.
If you start as an Orlesian warden, you're stuck with a predefined world state of Alistair being king (no idea about Anora), the anvil destroyed, and Circle tower might be still standing.
I never understood why the devs did not allow for the creation of the Orlesian warden based on an Ultimate Sacrifice ending and let all those decisions carry through. After all, why else would the Orlesian be at Vigil's Keep?

Wait, so you're saying when your Warden made the Ultimate Sacrifice and you imported that game into Awakening... it completely ignored it and rewrote your ending? Where your Warden survived? Seriously?
Are you sure that isn't a bug? Wasn't the whole point of having the Orlesian Warden to allow those who took the Ultimate Sacrifice to play the expansion with a new character to replace their old one?
That just seems too sucky to be true.
If you play as an Orleasian Warden straight off the bat without importing anything, that it makes sense that you play a pre-defined game seen as you havn't actually determined yourself what happened in Orgins.
But if you import a dead character then 1) your character should stay dead and 2) your Orlesian Warden should be playing in your dead Warden's universe.
I honestly think that's a bug

Not a bug. That's just how the game worked. Would have been nice if BioWare had been able to use a more sophisticated import mechanic to allow the use of an Orlesian Warden in the world left by your Warden.
For instance, what if your Warden didn't want to be Warden-Commander? I would have liked to have seen that happen.

*shrug* I had one Warden who didn't want to be Warden-Commander, so I just didn't take him through Awakening.
Playing as an Orlesian Warden-Commander in the universe of a dead/didn't feel like going to Amaranthine Warden would have been pretty sweet through. Too bad.

What happened to 'the Warden' in the Orlesian Warden's universe? Is there still one? Because DPC showed us what would have happened if the 'The Warden' hadn't accomplished what they did (namely; everyone dies, the Darkspawn wins). And if so, why has the Orlesian Warden taken their place?

The Orlesian Warden default has Alistair as king, if memory serves but then I have a dodgy memory, and Harrowmont as king of Orzammar. I really can't think of many instances that the consequences of DA: O figure in Awakening. Wynne is there as well. What happened to the Warden is a mystery as far as I am concerned.
But remember that Awakening takes place after Origins, so what happens after Origins could be considered canon. We just don't know the fate of the Warden from Origins which is, of course, different to the Warden not existing as in Darkspawn Chronicles.
