Just tried logging in to play and I keep getting an error saying I'm not connected to the internet and to try again once I am....odd seeing as I'm posting this and having no connection issues, any ideas? Tried restarting the game and my computer.

Its their severs again. I'm having the same issue as well. We'll just have to wait until they sort it out.

Same issue. And I was just thinking about starting a new game! Hope they fix it quick.

I just tested the log-in and no, it is not up right now. I would suggest that anyone who is trying to log in, don't. If your DLC was already authorized, you should be able to play.
Remember: after the one-time authorization of the game's DLC, you don't *have* to log in.

Odd enough trying to play Battlefield Bad Company 2 instead, their servers are messing up for me too, at that point I thought it might be something with my internet, very inconvenient coincidence

Apparently, all of EA's servers are down, not just DA.

Hmmm... connected through DA2 w/o a problem....

The EA customer support gave me the usual jive "We're working diligently on the problems....thank you for your patience.." blah blah blah, no specifics as usual, just stalling

I've had odd delays in log in for a couple of days and now can't log in at all in DAO or ME2.

Same issue here -- can't log in -- stops at "Connecting to Dragon Age servers". And here I thought it was just me.

Me too - I think next time I will be voting with my wallet.

Of course I can't login either, however my game loads fine as it's been pre-authed. HOWEVER, I can't play it, as I load my game, move around for about 30 seconds, and it crashes. Over and over. Really sad. 69 hours in and I'm closing in on the finish, and now it's doing this.
I was going to buy the 2nd one after finishing this, but I'm probably going to skip it. I've had a tremendous amount of problems getting through this game. I love Bioware products, typically, but the constant crashing is just too much.

I can not play at all right now. If I try to play it tells "This saved game includes bioware premium content..." I am confused at why this is happening I am over 50 hours in on the game and I have logged in prior to playing before. Why would my content not be accessible?

I had the somewhat same problem, it didnt give me an error but any items I got from DLC were missing since I could not login, Im not sure about how these other people get the "one time authentication"

I don't understand how this is acceptable. This is not an online game and I find it ridiculous that I would need a constant internet connection to play an offline game. The game is paid for, the DLC is paid for, all of the information is saved to my local hard drive not your servers. So why would my game be in accessible to me, the customer who has already purchased all of the DLC and expansion content, when I am "unable to connect to the internet" yet here I am. On the internet.

Update. I am able to connect to both EADM and DA2 just fine. Still unable to connect to DAO however.

I am having the "not connected to the internet" message now as well.
Recently I asked for some support from EA live chat to resolve a "download" issue, but on my first log-in since receiving that support, my account claims I am not connected.
I wonder if some "changes" were impacted during my live support session which may have caused this issue as I never experienced it beforehand.
In addition, I am having a message "your password or log-in details are incorrect". I am assuming this has happened in the past for some people?

I think if you log in to upload profile data and happen to save a game - you lose your offline DLC authorizations and have to be logged in to get them back. Do not play logged in once you get the authorization log out then play.

Thanks for that Leahbeth, but I am afraid your terminology is completely alien to me.
My problem arises at the point I run the game and try to "log-in" via the auto-log in on the game. To my knowledge, this has absolutely nothing to do with "download content authorisations".
Also, i have always played whilst "logged-in" and never previously had any issues
It is a little frustrating that the first problems in logging in I have come after "support" was given me previously via "live chat".
Maybe they are a little sore I haven't yet completed the survey....?

Cool. Looks like it's back up.
For those who tried to "Force Load" a saved game while your DLC was unauthorized, you may consider going back to an *earlier* save and starting from there... to avoid headaches like missing items, etc.
And just a little note for everyone... there is a new patch for the game in the works which is suppose to fix some of the DLC authorization issues and the chain reaction of errors it spawns. The developers are understandably reluctant to announce a firm date when it will be released, but I'll ask around and see if one of them would be able to post an update soon. I can't speak for them, of course, so no promises. But they've been pretty responsive both here and in the DA2 forum.
Best,
RI
