I recently reinstalled DaO as well as the toolset. The problem is for some reason the dragon age toolset will NOT open if i have my CA security installed on the computer...at all. Its in the exceptions list so thats not the problem.
I had this problem before and fixed it by installing an older version of CA which is not possible now since it is no longer recieving updates for protection. So that fix is not possible anymore.
The process opens but the toolset never opens.
I response from bioware on a possible solution to this annoyance would be great.
Ive tried several reinstalls of both DA and the toolset and nothing works...except the game ofcourse.

You probably won't get a response from Bioware here. We're just gamers like you. Some other gamer may have encountered this problem before... have you tries the Toolset Forums?

Yeah sorry for posting in wrong section. Just finished looking through the toolset forums and the only post i found which is the one i created awhile back and the person that replied with a fix, the fix doesnt help me.
 i cant seem to figure out why my CA security is permantly preventing the toolset from opening. runs fine without it installed.....

Let's give it a few days and see if anyone else chimes in. This forum's been slow for a while now.

unfortunately ive read through that to see if i goofed something up on the install and nothing was in there that helped.

Had to wipe my comp due to a corrupted system restore, hope the toolset and firewall problem sorts its self out with completely fresh installs...
