I hate the paragon persuasion to get the drugged Krogan to leave the Weyrloc camp in Mordin's loyalty mission.

I liked that one...

Shouldn't the renegade and the paragon be switched? Shepard bashing vorcha = good. Shepard bashing quarians = bad. Right?

I think it was more for humor TBH. Also, Tali is just surprised hahaha. And renegade is not necessarily bad either

The part I hate is the end. The "Go Go" just sounds sooo stupid IMO.

Probably when that salarian says ``make sure to shoot her in the head, because she doesn't have a heart.``

I liked that line. WTF dude?

Are you joking? I facepalmed when watching that scene.

No. I'm not. I laughed hard at that scene, because that ***** had it coming since ME1.

I think he said it just for the effect.

It was meant to be a groan worthy line.

Ah. Yeah, it broke the moment a little.

Tali reciting poetry when you're approaching the Migrant Fleet. Makes me want to shoot myself, and the worst part is that you can't skip it.

I'm pretty sure you can. But if you want to shoot yourself over it, go right ahead. No-one here will miss you.

"Oh by the Goddess! How could I be so dense!? You must think I am a complete and utter fool!" - I mean seriously, was that really necessary?

I think the point was to demonstrat that Liara was socially awkward, which made her a lot less threatening to me as I am tragically socially awkward! Haha!

Lol. I guess I might just be a dork. I thought the dialog was alright.
But this made me want to scream....
"Can it wait for a bit? I'm in the middle of some calibrations."

You do realize that was the  phrase that allows them into the fleet right? She didnt just say that for no reason.

What?!?
I loved that moment. It was one of these moments when the games perfectly intertwine with the books (Almost the exact same scene happens in Ascension). Ok, it's not that cool if you didn't read the book but why would it be bad?

Worst dialogues:
ME1: Everything from Benezia (Marina Sirtis screwed up that VO), especially: "No light? They always said there would be light!"

ME2: Harbinger is pretty bad with his cheesy lines. Didn't get better in Arrival either.
Also just before the end, the scene goes something like this:
EDI: "Shepard, sensors indicate the superstructure is a reaper ... but not just any reaper... it is ......"
Shep: "A HUMAN REAPER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
/facepalm

The incessant nagging by Garrus for Shepard to either find him after the firefights with the Eclipse and Blood Pack and to close the shutters DURING the fight with the Blood Pack on the lower level of Garrus' compound!

If he wasn't my Shep's BFFF. he might have become an innocent victim of poor decision making during the SM! (e.g. Sending Grunt through the vents with Garrus as 2nd team leader)

Benezia. nuff said.
The whole Therum scene was not Shepard's best moment.
"Charge!"
"Commander, that hasn't been a legitamate order since World War I...."
"On the double, mister"
"Commander.........*sigh*"

Absolutely every damn thing Harbinger says.
Everything.

It's awful.

I'm happy for you Harbinger, and imma let you finish, but Sovereign was the best reaper of all time.
Seriously, I hope reapers in ME3 are more like Sovereign... if they're anything like Harbinger with that awful cheesy deep from-the-throat voice trying to act like a stereotypical archvillian from the 1980s I'm going to have to punch someone... once for each reaper that talks like that...
Sovereign's detached emotionless idontgiveavorchasass way of speaking with a metallic modulation was perfect.

Well, I hate to say it but all reapers are different. It's more of the fact that we hear the same lines that got me. Harbinger was a good villain in my opinion-- as was Sovereign.

Anything FemShep says to Jacob...Why does it have to be so damn flirty?
I hated ME1 enemy encounters, especially human ones.
"I will destroy you!" "Enemies everywhere!" (I thought Kaidan was saying that, it actually isn't... lol)

It's actually enemy mercs, which is kinda funny when you take into consideration that they're fighting three people

Shepards line to Tali when romancing her. I don't remember exactly what she said prior to it, something about getting herself prepared for physical contact with Shepard, and him basically saying hurry up followed by a horrifying "captains orders." Just can't stand the way he says it. The whole "gotta have sex before the final mission" thing is getting pretty lame all around, I hope Bioware changes it up in ME3.

Liara: Something about head on collisions during the Skycar section of LoTSB.

Shepard: Yeah. I hear those can be bad for you.

No ****, sherlock.

FemShep: "I'm just interested in...(sultry look) TALKING for a bit."

And any time Thane starts reciting his memories in present-time. First time it happened, I couldn't understand what's going on. Waited for Shepard to ask for clarification. Odd writing, didn't like.

Most cringe-worthy lines belong in romances. Apart from that, can't think of anything. Writing is top-notch. Loved that moment Tali recites poetry - and how it's interwoven with the ship accelerating. Loved every one of Harbinger's lines. "I am Harbinger. Face your annihilation." He's a good adversary, for someone with whom you have zero communication. "If I must tear you apart, Shepard, I will." - the phrasing here makes him sound almost reluctant.

Do we have a topic for the best lines? I loved that moment when Mordin cries, "What? Why?" He's almost as tough as Shepard when it comes to showing emotion. Good to see him emotional every once in a while. Fades quickly, that, though. Even that is in his character - or rather, species. Or when Tali says, "I'm scared, Shepard." And here I thought she didn't have a heart. Grunt's lines, "I get it. I thought you'd be glad." Don't have an option to be glad for him here, frustrating. the classic "in rides Shepard, securing victory through nuclear fire. I love that part. It has weight." TIM saying, "Miranda thought you'd be more resistant. She's not often wrong." Shepard's pep talk, "are you going to sit here, VORCHA?" EDI: I enjoy the sight of a human on his knees. She tells a joke! And it's such a powerful moment, because even amidst all this horror, it still works to relieve the tension, and because you don't fully know if she's serious or not. one of the best.

Well, love all of them! Writing in ME2 rocks. Best part of the game, really.

The best lines , or the dialogue i prefer, are those who's syntax differs a great deal from what we're accustomed to .The Tank Grown Krogan scene or Legion for example. The way the dialogue is presented really makes me feel like I'm faced with something completely alien. To me its always been the core of any good Sci-fi context.

All in all, the writing is good. And considering the length of the game, you 'd have to expect some moments to be sub-par. And of course not everyone like/dislikes the same things.

Liara: She rarely spoke of her partner, though I know my father--if you want to use that term--was another asari.
Shepard: I thought you always needed another species to serve as one of the parents.
Liara: *facepalm*
