Ok here is my problem, there are some preorder things I want... One is from EA one is from game crazy one from amazon..
But the problem is I dont do the buying games in the mail. I will walk in and buy it... otherwise I wont own it.

Now where I live there is no EA store... or amazon... and the closest game crazy is the next state over... :crying:

for a list of CE items and preorder bonuses...

So I am wondering if you will make theres items available as a small dlc pack... shortly after the game launches???

would it help if I and other say please?
cuz....
PLEASE!

I would be willing to buy it the whole set for a small fee, heck, I would even be inclinded to purchase the 3 bonus items that come in the CE version... if the price was right.

"Will the preorder bonuses come out in a pay package a little bit later"

probably not, the entire point of them being pre-order bonuses is that you get them for pre-ordering.

I have a sneaking suspicion that yes, they will be available as DLC. I remember hearing that the CE items will be available as DLC as well.

Going by Tradition all th e DLC Items you get from various packages will not be released.

But Stone Prisoners and Warden's Keep definitely will be included later in a bundle - like a Gold Edition or Game of the Year Edition, it makes good business sense.

If they do get released as DLC later, even for a fee, Bio would risk annoying all those people that scrambled to get the best deal for themselves based on what they wanted from various retailers. It may pay off in the end (everyone gets what they want, after all), but too much souring of the pot tends to make people wary for the next time. And backlash is never pretty.

I think I'm neutral about whether they do it or not. Obviously, there's a tonne of pre-order bonus DLC that I can't get (since I'm not buying a version from every retailer) so having it available later, if it's worthwhile, would be nice, but I also like the idea of the pre-order bonuses meaning something more than just getting an item earlier and for free.

Ah well, we'll see what happens.

The_Odyssey, hopefully that answers your question of "why" someone would want the bonus DLC, too.

I hope to keep my feral wolf charm rare and meaningful.

I'm quite certain that you could make them in the toolset. They most likely won't have the same icon (i'm not familiar with the toolset, I'm saving the surprise for when it gets here to go looking through it) but you could copy and paste the description and give them the same stats. The only one that really interests me is the Grimoire of the Frozen Wastes that adds +3 to all your attributes.

Only it doesn't, it gives your 3 attribute points to spend, same as a level up, on the PC you should be able to emulate it with a simple console command.

I'm preordering CE, and I'm happy to have my extra items.

But I find it silly to keep others from enjoying these items. I didn't pay extra for the CE so others couldn't have these items, and since it is single player only, I get nothing out of keeping them rare.

I would advise EA & Bioware to keep these store & CE bonuses limited until the days following Jan. 1. Also, put a premium price on the item pack that is released, and don't include it in compilation editions.

This will reward the stores & the people who bought special editions for items, but will prevent others from never being able to access some easily added content to spice up their games.

This recommendation applies to consoles (because someone always writes "construction set!!!111!!! following anything like this).

Oh idk maybe because I would like to get something not offered in my area and I dont feel like make 2 350+ mile trips just to preorder ar a gamecrazy to get the preorder item I would actually want.

On top of that there are like what 8 different items depending on the means and place of ordering? I might enjoy DAO but I aint buying 8 new DAO from every spot just to get the items, when (if for a reasonable price) they are all out in one small dlc.

I actually think its kinda retarded to have so many different preorder bonuses, I mean I can understand 2 or 3, but damn there are like 8. its to many.

To some it seems stupid, but i would like to get all the items available....
