Overall I think ME2 was an amazing game, probably the best game I have played since Super Metroid originally came out on the Super Nintendo. My main complaint would be the main storyline or rather the lack of one. I don't care what anyone at Bioware says, ME2 feels like a collection of sidequest with very little emphasis on the Collector threat ( let alone the Reapers, the real threat to the Galaxy ). I also believe that ME2 should have ended with the Reapers invading the galaxy and probably destroying a major space station/planet or wiping out an entire spieces. The lack of ME2 squad mates on the confirmed ME3 roster also suggests that overall ME2 was more or less pointless, what was the point of recruiting these people and getting to know them if they were all disposable and have no real role to play in ME3.

the whole game really

buying the game, different vendors give you different in game items.......horrible idea.
cerebus network vs dlc  had some issues when I changed my email address on my xbox it removed all the cerebus network stuff when I logged into live.

The game itself,
Story sucked
It lack any choices that made a difference.  You can't make one wrong choice in the game (minus sexing morinth) plot wise that ends the game for you.
A lot of the changes were superficial, I liked my teammate health bars

the game seems unfinished to me

Definitely the plot of getting loyal squadmates just for a short final mission. It was like going to the grocery store for 7 hours just to eat a peanut butter sandwich.

I was dissapointed with a LOT of things in ME2 and I've mentioned a LOT, but not all, of them in this thread.

But hands down, undisputably the BIGGEST dissapointment for me:

NOTHING that matters carries over to a new game when you import a completed ME2 character!!!! In ME1 EVERYTHING carried over! You start a new game with imported character you get ALL of your weapons from last time, ALL of your upgrades, keep ALL of your skill points, ALL of your squad's skill points and keep ALL of your Renegade AND Paragon points! Which is f*cking awesome, because then you can have a second playthrough with crazy awesome weapons and skills and EVERYTHING from the beginning! Have all of the dialogue options open! And still get EVEN BETTER STUFF!!!

But in ME2 you LOOSE ALL of your skill points (did they even really have that?), ALL of your Rene/Gon points, You keep your weapons but you LOOSE ALL of your weapons upgrades rendering them neutered level one pea shooters anyway, ALL of your armor upgrades again making it useless! The ONLY thing you keep at all is your powers and that f*cking SUCKS! Because my soldier Shepards "powers" are special ammos that give him a useless 10% damage boost! That 10% damage boost is devastating with leveled weapons, but with the level ones you're stuck with on import? Yeah you're looking at 10% of can't damage crap anyway!

ME2 import system was the most epic fail of all video game epic fails Image IPB

The feeling left when I realised it had traded its original sci-fi feel for something a little more modern day action in space...

Don't get me wrong, I love ME2...its fantastic...just that little directional shift wasn't high on my list of things to send Christmas cards to.

The main plot was a bit... barebones.
Companion were good though.

Tali's romance. I love her character, have since ME1 when she quite literally shouted at my Shepard and was more of a walking tank than Wrex, but to me her romance scene was not good. She has a strong personality and I dislike the way she melts over my Shepard.

I'd prefer a Leia to a princess peach.

Not every character can be the super strong doesn't really "melt" for anyone type. Miranda is that type, Ashley is that type. Keep it up and there will only be one female character just with different faces and names.

Tali was kid in ME, now she's a young woman, it makes perfect sense for her to have a bit of a school girl crush on the ManShep Image IPB IMO.

And as far as combat, she was NOT badder at close quarters than Wrex. Unless you leveled her up and left Wrex level one...

She has a shotgun, so does Wrex. What wrex doesn't have is near infinite shields, and that's with crappy armor. She can take a ton of punishment and dish out a ton of punishment in ME1. Sadly, she was nerfed a bit in ME2 along with her melty romance.

As far as the romance goes, it's a difference of opinion. I instinctively skipped it when it started in the Captain's quarters. I don't want an uber-strong romance, I just don't want a "school girl" romance. Sensitivity is fine but I personally view that romance as beyond sensitive.

EDIT: Also, she wasn't a kid, she was 20-22. I'm 19 and in college and I can tell you that many of the girls I come across in college don't act like how she acted, and none of them kill things with shotguns.

Her techiness should give her some mad sheild bonus action. But Krogan are CRAZY berserkers at close quarters.

Hahaha! I think that's a matter of perspective... ask someone my age and you're ALL a bunch of happy-go-lucky whippersnappers!

EDIT:
Tali and the girls at your school included.
