In Hawkes codex entry in Dragon Age II it says how he moved to various places in ferelden before malcolm and leandra finally settled down in lothering... or something along those lines. So from that I gather he wasn't born in lothering. So.. Where was he born? Highever? Denerim. Was he even born in Ferelden? Could he have been born in Ostwick or at sea or something while Leandra and Hawke were first leaving the free marches, Maybe Gwaren?
Is there any information on where Hawke was born or is it unknown at this point?

Hope it turns out he is a Free Marcher.. I mean I love fereldan but I want to try and disconnect him from my warden as much as possible. Lol =P
That and it would be cool since he woulc connect with the people much more and they would be more accepting of his decisions as a freedom fighter for mages / templars and/or his title of viscount. Because it always seemed to be a barrier for Hawke throughout the game that he was a Fereldan. If it turns out he really is a marcher then he will be that bit closer to fufilling my dream that he unify the free marches =D
