Exactly, this is what I keep telling people. For them, it wouldn't be any different then any other part of her body but an Asari would likly allow her human male lover that small accomodation as it's still a great contact point for a meld into his nervous system. Probelby gross her out if you ejaculated in her though. She might be able to disable that during the meld though.

Anyway, I don't even know why they would need a vagina in the first place. They might need a urethra for peeing, but the rest of it wouldn't be intuitive to their biology, especially since there are aparently no penises on their planet. At least none of their species.

They are probably similar to human females, but with lack of physical sexual pleasure points. They need to pee, and they need to give birth, so we know they have 2 holes at least, and probably nothing really else down there.

TOUCH (actual touching...making physical contact) is still important to asari.....so it seems. the consort, Liara, Shiala.... they all touch Shep in a sensual manner (Shiala was very subtle...but it was there). hell...look at the dancers in the clubs (by asari club goers and the club's dancers)...gyrating on the poles...their hand motions. Physical pleasure is not out of the realm believability. i wouldnt be surprised if they could receive "pleasure" in the neither regions.....would be a waste of a perfectly good SLANG word otherwise!!!

Each asari can choose when and how they progress to the next stage in life. Being a maidan doesn't prevent her from having children if she should choose, it just makes it less likely that she would choose to.

Maybe in ME3 we'll find out that asari aren't monogendered and its all a big conspiracy. There are in fact male asari but they aren't cool like that pic they are small, weedy and not as smart as the females so they are hidden away and used as slaves.

Aside from being the most bad-ass thing I have seen today, sadly male asari dont exist. The entier race is asexual, but female if we are talking sexually. So they have lady parts but they aren't ladies.

As a race they aren't asexual .. they are monosexual .. they are perfectly fine females who reproduce through a process similar to parthenogenesis in real life .. it doesn't involve any mating. male organs or sperm .. it is more akain to self-cloning but with half the DNA strand being randomized through biochemical rections inside the fetus ... they are just females .. that's all XD

from what we gather..as others have already stated....a asari can be physically mature as young as 40 (or younger) Im sure they are capable of reproducing at that age . She will not feel compelled to  do so till much later......Liara is 109...a maiden....but she CAN have children if she (the writers) so choose..... that does not mean she will by default become a matron..unless she is popping out kids left and right... im sure most asari would look down on her for having a child so young.  though....Liara isnt a typical asari maiden and plays against the archetype.

Kinda like how we would be dismayed by a 13-15 year old girl having a child. she is capable of having a child...but she is far too young and not very mature (mentally). she hasnt LIVED and experienced many things....now she has a child..and if she was responsible...everything she did from that point would be for the sake of the child.

For asari.....a species with maternal instincts (born with the knowledge to properly raise and care for a child as well as being biologically compelled  to do so)....  would be little doubt.....they would do everything for that child...
no matter what age they have that child.

physical sexual pleasure points is a very relative term ... if we are talking about mild stimulation women (and men) can be stimulated from many points (usually any point with lots of sensitive nerve ends) .. some women get turned on from mouth .. some from nipples .. their ears .. neck .. etc .. etc .. (understandably through licking or kissing) ... even the back-door is sexually stimulating even though there is biologically no benefit whatsoever from that .... the whole point is the nerves .. and there it is rich with sensitive nerve ends .. and that can easily lead to sexual stimulation .... that's pretty much it ... and that's why IMO Asari would easily be sexually stimulated like any other human.
