I do too honestly.

Now is not the time for dead pan deliveries and facepalm worthy dialogue.

Everything has to be polished, like diamonds.

That would be an awesome renegade interrupt. Seriously.

EDIT: The chair throwing of course, not the crying.

Would be absolutely amazing. Imagine this: the loud sounds from Shepard's cabin tells that something is being broken.

(Kelly carefully peeks into the cabin and sees that it's completely wrecked, broken glass and furniture everywhere.)

Kelly: Oh my god, what's happened here?

Shepard: *embarrassed, puts down the leg of the chair* Galaxy depends on me. I am under a lot of tension. Better I do this in private than taking it out on the crew.

Kelly: *takes a small step back*

Shepard: Ah, didn't you learn about that stuff in your training?

Kelly: *eyes wide, notices a damage resistant gear lying on the floor, completely shuttered - clearly Shepard tore it apart with his bare hands*

Shepard: So, er...Came to help me deal with the tension? *inviting smile*

Kelly: I just remembered that I should check the incoming messages on your terminal! *flees*

Shepard: Oh well. *goes back to demolishing the cabin*

EDIT: Really, Shepard, punching the civilians? Save that for the Reapers! He does tell Grunt to save this for the enemies - do as I tell, not as I do? Will be a lot of targets for him in ME3 aside from that reporter.

We better get the option of having a "crying-interrupt" when we talk to the reporter **** in ME3.

I do not cry. So my Shepard better not cry. Not even if he's chopping onions!

EDIT2: also, I felt that cutting people off was disrespectful.I really hope that interrupts allow us to listen to the whole thing this time, while also getting us some new content, not losing it, thus feeling as a reward. But of course, this concept doesn't go very well with the name "interrupt."

Most of the interrupts that were tactical ie down a bad guy before the fight starts was good the other time I thought it was necessary was Kensen and the grenade other then that I agree most of the time it just cuts content, makes me freak out when I see a press right/left trigger now, and is rude to say Mordin when I cut him off to breath.

I like to watch the scene unfold and seeing those interrupt icons blasting every other scene quickly kills the scene any tension or emotion is lost because the flashy button screams look at me not at the screen!

If an interrupt is to be used it should only be used in tactical situations like the security mech in rescue Arch Angel, in situations where shep gets offended like the headbutting the Krogan moment, or when its truly life threatening like SB hostage or Kensen has a grenade issue it should not be used to shut the chatty Krogan up sooner, shut mordin up sooner, or to shut anyone up sooner just because they talk too much.

Yes, I thought that tactical battle interrupts are the best, because they do actually add content, allowing you to see things you would've have seen otherwise. "You work too hard" was awesome, also because it happened when you've already saw all dialogue, and you don't lose content. And headbutting the krogan was my favourite moment in the game. :D I didn't want to shut Mordin up, because I love to hear the guy speak. :)

Honestly, it sounds more like a figure of speech to me. But I hope not.

Yeah, I thought so too but it would be really awesome if they could put in some laughing and crying moments.

@chino_281 Interrupts are back in #ME3 but we have some new tech & methods to work them in. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll slug someone.

Sounds pretty interesting.

I'm actually more interested in the laughing. Has Shep laughed previously?

I guess crying will be Femshep interrupt if Garrus starts calibrate again. In my opinion people who kill hundreds of other people just never cry though.
If they are adding laughing I hope they'll add monocle and plug-hat as well.

laughing or crying would make Shep seem more human. Laughing at something Joker says would be nice or shedding some tears at the loss of someone s/he cares about (maybe the LI dies) or breaking down at the sight of a decimated city on Earth while holding a dying child or something.

Even battle hardened soldiers during WWII wept at the sight of the death camps.

Anyway, I just wanted to say that it sounds exciting.

EDIT3: I want an option to burst into sobbing. Give me a dialogue option marked as "distraught". I have a feeling that I will be chosing it all the time. And if I can have that in the game, I won't have to come to the forums for that.

Isn't the definition of an interrupt to you know, interrupt something? lol
Otherwise might as well use the dialogue wheel.

And personally I don't think he was referring to Shep's emotional reactions. Something like that could be interesting if done right, though I'm not sure how they could fit it in naturally.

In light of all the mental stresses Shep's gone through from prothean beacon, multiple asari mind probes, cyphers and that dying/resurrecting thing, I'm surprised Shep's not ended up gibbering and drooling while wearing a straight jacket at this point.

I want a temper tantrum interrupt now. ;)

Seriously, I'm not sure how I think about this.  I like the idea, but it would have to be done just right.
