I have searched the net everywhere and I cannot find anywhere fixes to the proficiencies of various NPCs in EasyTutu. I am amazed that no one has corrected the so obviously badly allocated proficiency points.

Shouldn't BGTweak or Fixpack have at least an option for them? (Or do they?)

The more infamous example is Khalid dual-wielding Bastard Swords and Coran using a Two-Handed Sword which disables his backstab.

I know I can correct them with ShadowKeeper one by one and I think BGT fixes them but does anyone know any way that fixes them all and makes them closer to BG1?

Luminus, I think you're referring to the fixes offered in Level 1 NPCs. That mod allows you to change everything about an NPC except race/alignment. You are able to change stats, weapons, proficiencies and classes, even dual classes. I recently found it and love playing the game with that mod added in. Also, Level 1 NPCs is applicable to both BGI and BGII so you can change everything and line them up from story to story.

Hope that helps.

Yeah I am aware of it but like I said I would prefer a more automated way like a fix. If I have to do it for everyone manually I may as well use Shadowkeeper.

After all these years of EasyTutu and BG2Tweak development, noone thought that those proficiencies are wrong?

I know it's nothing big and takes like 10 minutes in SK but I just find it weird.

I think there are actually quite a few mods that address proficiency issues. If you want to keep things flexible rather than setting them in advance with L1 NPCs why not use the component in SCS? This allows you to choose NPC proficiencies in-game at the time they are recruited.

I thought SCS was not modular, I was pleasantly surprised. It's not what I was looking for but I think it's actually better.
Thanks Grond0, I was aware of SCS but I actually checked it out this time. Pretty smart having everyone start at 0 level, solves every problem.

If all else fails, Shadowkeeper will allow you to change whatever you want to.

Caveat: it may not add abilities that are assigned at earlier levels. Abilities like spell usage should be ok because they are re-calculated every time the character gains a new level.
