if so do you get to kill her?
Is there a way to get Aveline to side against you in the final battle?

You can get her to leave your party but she wont join Meredith's side. So no, you can't kill her.
Getting her to leave is tough though. First, her Friendship or Rivalry must be under 50% in either direction. Then you must side with the mages and not lose Fenris while doing so. It is impossible to lose both Fenris and Aveline. Presumably because the game doesnt want to leave you without a warrior.
If Fenris leaves, she will stay regardless of how she feels about you or your decisions.
