1. For my party, I use Fenris, Varric, and Anders. My
reason for using Fenris is because he's a Tevinter slave so why not use
him as a bodyguard until Magister Danarius tracks him down. Then you can
rightfully return him to his Master like a good imperial citizen.
Second, I chose Varric because Tevinter has a good relationship with the
Dwarfs. It was the Dwarfs that built the 3 giant golems that guard
Minrathous. 3rd, I picked Anders because he cares only about Mages and
wants to see them become independent (like a pre-tevinter perhaps?).
Also he's a good healer.
2. Chose Blood Mage as soon as you hit level 7, since almost all mages in Tevinter use blood magic for they're needs.
3.
In the quest where you go recuse Fenryl from the slavers (when you
first met him) let Varric talk to the tevinter slaves and you can walk
away with some money plus you let the tevinter's leave alive.
4.
In the quest just before the one mentioned in step 3, when you talk to
the tevinter mage in darktown, let Fenris "talk" to them and then you
can get a choice whether or not to let the mage go, so pick yes.
5.
In the cave during a Fenris quest to confront Hadriana, make sure to
pick up the Imperial Chantry amulet for Anders, and keep Orana as a
slave (ticking Fenris off in the process). It's been awhile but I don't
remember if there's a way to let Hadriana live or not.
6. In the final battle pick to side with the mages, obviously.
7.
In the game I noticed a couple Tevinter specific items like a Tevinter
Slaver Cowl and Ring of the Ferryman (which can be bought in the Wounded
Coast in Act 3.
8. In the quest where you enter the Fade, refuse
the demon's help and make sure you help Fenryl out of the Fade. You're
charecter will suggest he should go to Tevinter to get help in using his
powers, so he does. You'll get a letter from him later saying how
popular you're character is after the defeat of the Qunari.
That's all I can think of at the moment. Thank you for reading it and I welcome any other additional tips.
