You can finally get an intel about Samara using the terminal.
BTW,
Even if you unchecked every plot route related to Thane, you can't never re-do Thane's recruit mission.
So once your journal is updated, (which means when you can meet the officer who takes you to the station)
use save editor once again to restore Thane's plot status.
I finished Samara's recruit mission and am on my way of doing Thane's loyalty mission.
It seems it's working fine so far.
(focus on the 'temporary' part.
I know it is such a shame to use save editor but appriently this is the only option we have.
Shame on you Bioware. You are not doing your job.)
