just wondering...the physical dmg modifiers talk in percentages, but im not sure what the elemental runes mean when they say +4 fire dmg...is it extra 4 dps, 4 extra weapon dmg (slight dps increase) or what?
what does +4 fire damage actually mean?

It means exactly as it implies.. 4 fire damage on contant with your weapon. Enemies immune to fire will suffer no damage. Enemies weak to fire will take double damage. %Fire gear increases the potency of the rune.

so it takes 4 hitpoints of fire damage off the target with each attack (depending in resistances)...correct?
