What would that be for you?

Best Re-Design: Definitely the Qunari. At first I was sceptical, but after seeing them ingame (especially the Arishok) I was totally convinced of it. Impressive, dangerous, and just coolB)

Ugliest Re-Design: Zevran all the way. It is just......ugh. He looks like he is missing a chromosome or something:blink:
No more sign of the handsome, charming guy from Origins.

Curious about your opinions.

Well for me it's a toss up between Flemeth, and The Qunari like you said, they did a great job on those characters. The Arishok was awesome. I loved him. I hated that I had to fight him.

The worst redesign, I'd have to go with Alistair.

Well pretty much Qunari. They really look intimidating and foreign now, Sten was just a slightly taller human, not so intimidating, now they are very much so.

Worst for me is a toss up between the elves and the darkspawn. So much so that I refuse to believe those are darkspawn we are fighting and are instead late stage ghouls. And yeah Zevran looks nothing like himself, even as bad as Alistair does look he had traces of his old appearance in the model. All the elves look so horrible now, except for Fenris, but that's because he doesn't look like an elf.

Darkspawn are hands down the worst. Not just the physical look but the armor & weapons as well.

I like the quanari who now don't look like bloated grey people with the elves as a close second because, again, they dont just look like short humans with pointy ears.

Consolation prize for worst redesign to all the armor and weapons which now look mostly non functional.

I thought most of them were ugly or meh from Origins in fact.

But they got worse of course.

Not sure what's the best, it's always easier to know what I hate. Elven redesign is the worst for me.

Best: Mage clothing and staves (except for the naked lady thing, but to each his own), and the regular guard armor is nice.

Worst: Goat elves

I thought the worst re-designed characters from Origins were Zevran, Teegan, and Alistair. In that order. The "new" look of Zevran in Act III made me glad my elven protagonist from Origins was nowhere to be seen.

I actually quite liked the elf redesign, but the qunari one was good too. The only really bad one I can think of is the darkspawn one.

I think elves take the best and worst here. Merrill and Fenris have very exotically attractive faces, but most NPC elves are icky. I like the redesign's bullet-points (pointier ears, smooth nose/forehead transition), but it seems like they were actively trying to make the elves as ugly as possible.

The female elf animations are fantastic. Merrill stands tall and poised... she looks incredibly graceful and other-worldly. But the male animations are awful. Fenris is hunched over like he's giving a 500-pound gorilla a piggy-back ride.

I think Orsino looks awesome too.

I don't mind Zevran's new look...he ended up looking better than Alistair, IMO.

But some of the elves are scary (Orana).

And the undeads! they are ugly.. Darkspawn? no way, they are undeads.

That's exactly what he looks like.    +1 to Ish

I don't mind it, either.  I was expecting something hideous, based on all the comments I was reading, and I didn't think it was that bad (although as I said the elves overall were a comedown for me).
I'm much more disturbed by Sandal's retread. /creepy
