After doing a few favors for aria you get a chance to ask her what she did before running Omega. She was cryptic on the topic but does state that her name was not always Aria, this got me thinking.Who was she before Omega what did she do?

She never tells you much about yourself besides the fact that she's had a few different names and occupations and has been trained as a commando; however taking everything she said into consideration I think I know what her name used to be. It is my firm belief that Aria is actually Aleena the asari commando that Wrex told you about mass effect one.

Here's what we know; first of all both Aria and Aleena are commandos, second the timeline seems to match up Aria seems to be the right age to be Aleena. What really sold this theory for me was when she said "I lean toward a particular type of workit tends to encourage professional rivalrysometimes you'd rather disappear than be forced to kill someone". That statement makes perfect sense in context to Rex's story about Aleena.


Granted this is all circumstantial but it all seems to match up perfectly.

Anyway let me know what you guys think.
